First, my gamerscore keeps resetting back to zero, if I turn off my xbox and turn it back on its fine until an arcade game is played.

Second, All my arcade games which I bought are now saying they are only trial versions and not the full games even though they are games i've been playing for over a year, hell even my achievements show that they are the full game.

    Any advice or help available?

    Thanks.

I wonder if it might have something to do with your log in... because it sounds like it's not registering "you" as "you." Might be a call-in question.

are you online? some arcade games wont be 'full' versions unless youre signed in. you can fix this by going online and sorting out some sort of drm crap, but you'll have to re-download every arcade game you own.

this happened to me when i got an elite, but the 0 gamerscore is weird.

Supposedly its something to do with content liscenses and the fact I put my hardrive into my brother's xbox so I could play my games while visiting on the weekend, its muddled something up. My profile could have been flagged but i'm not sure why.

@Smang - yup I'm always online when i'm playing on my xbox.

That "shouldn't" have affected it, Rec. I take my HD to my friend's house often enough, and we play games off it. Only thing is we haven't done it since MS began cracking down on illegal stuff.

Figured out one issue, what ever you do Prowl don't download games while your hard drive is in someone else's xbox, it buggers up the DRMs. I bought Braid on the weekend and it seems that is what is causing the issue. I also bought the Dragon Age RtO DLC too same issue.

Whats worse is that even though i've bought it, and can re-download it still won't work as the license is tied to my brothers Xbox.

The gamerscore issue might have something to do with it, since I have achievements for games I don't have the license for, according to their database. :(  :(  :(

Yup, game licenses are tied to console serial number, not to the hard drive. Once you switch consoles, you're screwed. MS can transfer the rights, and I believe they will do it once. But I've only heard them doing it with RROD consoles.

Actually, they allow you to transfer the rights yourself.
I know cause I did it when I moved up to the Elite.

Digging around for the link just now.

    *Edit: Found it: http://www.xbox.com/en-GB/support/drm/
Try that to clear up the license issues and hopefully your GamerScore problems.

There is a download history if you bring up the guide, you can use that and just queue up stuff. I believe you can set up to 25 items at a time then power off your system (theres an option for downloads to continue while the system is powered down) and check back every so often.

The DRM shouldn't be an issue if you're signed itno Live, regardless if the DLC/Games was purchased on a seperate machine. You can try the account recovery option. It could take a while but might solve the issues with your GT/GS.

    Joe ain't dumb.
Joe can produce excellent visual stuff Al can't.

But as others said, it's a bit of a pain downloading everything. Though it's only a small download for content you still have on your HD.

    Nope.
All I think it does is transfer the small (around 100kb) license file to your new XBox.

It's been a while since I did that myself so I maybe wrong on the download size.

A point worth paying attention to, you are limited to doing the license change thing to once a year.
