I'm going to buy a 360 for christmas but I only have a rubbish 50hz tv, will the 360 work on it, or more importantly , will the games work, because i'm going to buy Halo 3 and something else, so if the 360 works on the tv, will Halo 3 work on it?

I don't own a 360, but I do own a PS3 and that works fine in PAL (or 576i). I don't see why the 360 should be any different.

quite a lot of 360 games only work in 60hz, they usually have it marked on the front of the box. halo 3 is 60hz.

Forgive my ignorance, but I take it this a consideration in PAL territories.
    Am I correct?
