Guess I'll be continuing to use the features for free on my computer and cell

I'll probably use it to check my facebook every once in a while, but the other 3 features I couldnt care less about.
Still, its free. Whatever.

 

Yay Facebook and lastfm! I may be the only person genuinely excited for this.

 

I'm excited. I'll most likely be using Twitter and LastFM the most. Facebook's a maybe.

Not a bad Tuesday. New update, new Rockband songs and Left 4 Dead 2.

 

Last.fm is awsome. Twitter and facebook are completley ass, functional but barely. This update just clutters every thing up (some say even more but I liked the NXE before). I like the news videos too, but I always have a hard time finding it.

The Zune Marketplace is okay, they fixed my biggest issue during the test at least. Originally when you went to the my videos section and opened up what used to be the 360 hard drive it would just take you to the Zune MP. You would then have to scroll through to the Your Library pane. Now it just opens up to your Library. With Instant on, videos no longer download by default. They'll become available to stream in a few seconds or you can choose a download option after you purchase a license. Not a big deal but it confused me after trying to figure out why an episode of The Guild hadn't downloaded.

I'd rather see these as optional pay-downloads than forced down your throat, take it or else.

free, yes, but it's just going to clutter the dashboard, I can use FB (th only of the 3 featrues I remotely care about) better on my PC, which is 2 feet away from my 360.
and I'm bitter the udgrade download will delay me from L4D2, even for a few minutes (yeah, I know CRY SOME MOAR...)
as for the couldn't vs could, eh w/e

 

I think last.fm is going to be cool.
If you can post videos and screenshots directly to Facebook than I'm down for that.

However, what I can't believe is that we still won't be able to preview all these purchase for which there are no refunds.
It amazes me that most of the gamer pictures and all of the themes give you no idea what you are spending your money on.
How many updates have their been to the interface and we still can't get a preview image of what we are about to purchase?

I might use FB and Twitter occasionally, but even though I have Gold it's still stupid to make it a feature that only Gold members can enjoy, since these two are free everywhere else. I can understand if only Gold members can access to Last.fm and Zune, but not FB and Twitter.

 

I've used FB a few times to look through (yay for being in the Preview) but I won;t be using Twitter since I don't have an account and probably will never have one.

Last.fm is a nice addition, however it's a shame you can't stream the music while playing games. And, unless you have a paid Last.fm account, you get a small delay while a advertisement plays. No biggie though.

I've browsed the Zune Video Marketplace but not bought anything from it.

One minor gripe I have had with FB and Last.fm during the Preview is that some of the times when I went into it, I had to downloading the applications to run them again. I guess they were doing some minor tweaks behind the scene. Hopefully it won't be like that when it goes live tomorrow.

 

I think the Facebook is kinda fun. Especially the way it works with Uncharted 2, where it tells your friends when you're doing well or sucking. Embarasing, but fun.

I resent the fact that because you don't want something for free that you would want people who would be interested in these things to have to pay for them. Thanks!
