That does look better, but I've tweaked them a bit more, so that I think they are now perfect:



 

Seriously, I don't understand the point of any of these faces other than the talking one. It was a great idea to create some alternative faces for MP-21, especially given that the stock faces didn't turn out great (in grey, anyway; they look a lot better on MP-21G in silver). But then, other than the talking one, they went with one that looks pretty much identical to the stock face (but with inaccurate rounded eyes and a bigger nose) and two completely random things which are presumably intended to be funny rather than just stupid. It seems like a missed opportunity. It would have been great to have a better stock face and some different expressions.

As it is, I'm now in two minds over this set. I have the MP-21G jetpack, so with the faces turning out so bad in this, that just leaves the energon rods, the wrist communicator and the shoulder radar (and a few random base pieces). They're quite cool little touches, but I'm not sure I can justify buying the set just for those. A shame, as I was really looking forward to seeing how these faces turned out.

I'm gonna ask this one time. Why do you keep asking the same question when it's clear we don't know when it will come out?

 

Looks cool, and all, but the one aftermarket/third party add on I want to see is a BIG GAPING HOLE in the center of Bumblebee's Spark Chamber. I am so sick and tired of seeing 'Bee or Optimus on practically everything. I'm pretty sure some Chinese company is even making condoms with Bumblebee on them. I wouldn't be surprised.

Honestly, I'll be ditching ALL the extra faces for these. My MP-21/MP-21G Decepticon clone drone army only need the battle masks.

Thanks for sharing the pictures. I have this set on pre-order, but it hasn't been sent out yet. I did lose interest somewhat when I saw the provided faces, though. It was a good opportunity to provide some nice alternative faces for MP-21, and instead, other than the open-mouthed one, they included one that's almost identical to the stock face and two that are just utterly stupid, with no eyes and swirly patterns that don't even reference anything in the cartoon. It just seems a wasted opportunity when no one else is making any replacement faces. Also, MP-21G scratched the itch for a jetpack (and a better face).

That said, I do like the other accessories - the wrist comm, the radar and the energon rods, so I ended up keeping my preorder.

 

Yeah, the face I'm using in the pic is more than likely the only one I will use from the set, unless I wipe off one of the many faces and do quite custom. I was thinking of that but would need some ideas.

Other than that in happy w the set, I like the locker and other accessories. FYI the holder for the energy rods is super tight, I'm going to sand the grips down so I don't feel like they will break if I take them out.

Now that we have Red Bumblebee, do you think we'll get a red variation (maybe with a Cliffjumper homage)?

 

Of the forearm covers or the X2Toys set? I'm sure JReam would paint up a set. X2 Toys I doubt.

 

Id be interested in this set, but I like that Dr Wu's has the flame blast effect on their jetpack
