Meh....cool concept, but it's too expensive for what it is IMO. Honestly doesn't even look all that great to me. Way too many hole's in the walls....

The holes are slots for the supposedly future accessories to connect to that X2 Toys have in the works to go along with these bases.

Such as Teletran 1 & risers and ramps.

I can deal with the holes, but the price and lack of end pieces pretty much kills it for me.

This is very promising. As long as they are offering to sell a teletran 1 and ramps there are many possibilities for these tiles. End pieces would be good like other people are saying but you could almost build an entire base out of these things which is much better than just a cut out background.

Benscollectables has a review of them. Been awhile, but I've been itching to have these as dioramas for my Decepticons.

I'm putting together a review to post in the next few days but thought I should share a preview pic. Here's the assembled display just waiting to be filed with Masterpiece figures.

I bought 5 of these sets and I love em. I hopefully will be buying a nice lighting setup to fully make use of these for photos.

Here's a pic of all 5 put together with some third party Transformers and Frame Arms.
