As far as his shoulders being loose, are you sure you have those gray pieces down all the way so the windows snap into them (very small pegs)?

 

That X-Transbots Skids looks great. I still need to pick him up.

 

Yeah, the ball joints are loose but not too bad. His arms don't drop or anything. Just feels looser than it should

I finally got mine today. The only issue I have is that he is a bit of a belly-dragger in car mode. Maybe I don't have everything lined up perfectly? The clearance is still like under a millimeter. I don't really care since I don't "vroom-vroom" my MP cars. Otherwise, I love my XTB Flipout. Well done X-Transbots!   2 for 2. Excellent.

I think it's been mentioned casually that it'll now be January.

 

I just got Flipout and broke the rear windshield part where the leg separates from the roof, like happened immediately. I noticed in some review videos that part was broken or cracked on a few different too, so it's definitely fragile. The dumbest part is that Chosen Prime sent me 2 Flipouts instead of 1 and a Crackup, so here I am with a broken one and one untouched, which is frustrating.

Curious, how responsive to parts was XTB? Just wondering if I should go through them directly or deal with TCP first?

I got one from Toy Dojo and that paint was one of the issues I had (others were a misfired pin on a tab and scratched up paint on the heel spur. That said, I think they all have that white paint dull spot because I got my new one and the paint has the exact same 2 dull spots on his chest the other one had. I never rolled either one around and looked right after I peeled off the film. You can't see it unless you look at an angle to catch the light and it's way small in hand, but one is at the top of the white "box" on his chest and the other in on the other white box off to the left (or his right). Is this what you were talking about? I suspect it's an issue on all of them or a batch of them. I wouldn't have seen it either except I was looking close for issues with that peel off film. Head on without looking super close, you'd never know they were there because other than it being dull, it's still painted fine. (These pictures make it look WAY worse than it is but I needed them for the return so they could see what I was talking about).

My ball pegs in the shoulders work fine but I agree as well, they feel a little looser than I'd like so I put a drop of Future into each socket and worked it around last night. It's been curing on my dresser so I'll check it after work but I suspect it'll tighten right up.

 

I've only just noticed that mine has the exact same marks in exactly the same places.

 

Yeah sorry to point those out to people but at least if you see / saw it, you know yours isn't messed up. They're just all like that I think.

On my shelf, you can't see it anyhow. It's just one of those, "The angle and the light is just right" things.

 

Is Crackup’s blue or face painted?

 

They both are I believe. Just the white / peach / cream stuff isn't   That's got a gloss coat on it.

My Flipouts tab at the bottom of the front passenger door broke off on the first transformation. It was nothing I did, as I was still working on the legs and I saw a small piece fall out from the bottom. I guess it's good to know xtb will take care of us like that.

 

I'll be getting mine tomorrow from TCP. Along with Savant. Its going to be an XTB kinda day.
