Why argue about scale when even the animators didn't care about scale?

 

Not sure if serious. The ENTIRE Masterpiece line is built on scale, of one kind or another.

 

Agreed for the most part, my original point was simply that until Takara releases one, any and all scale in combined mode is arbitrary, and that my personal tastes are equally valid to those of anyone else.

 

Using animations variances isn't a consistent size, that's why there is sunbow to reference.

Something is a bit off.(not horrible but not great) If TT wants to do mp40 as a 4" prime and rest the mp line scale like mp 10 did, I'm sure 3rd will help me finish off my mp 10 scale collection. I won't be starting a new collection

 

That's a fan chart, not a sunbow chart

Funnily enough if you look at the actual chart, CW devy scales perfectly:

 

It's the angle making it look off, using a straight line as reference , his head is at top of chest.

 

Although it depends on which one you go by. That same chart has two different scaled Devs.

Both charts scale Devy to OS the same. The variance is with the others. The change from what was planned to what was actually animated most of the time is the other sunbow chart. Which is what TT and FT has been mostly going by. So I would like to keep that scale in line with future purchases since my whole collection is based off that.

 

It's one chart...it just has devy on there twice. The one with all the colored lines is fan made.

New product photo's show up... fans get excited and discuss... fans then devolve into arguing over color and version choices... lastly fans eventually get around to arguing about scale and then the age old scale charts begin to show up again... rinse and literally repeat.

 

But if we don't have our endless, repetitive, meaningless debates, how will the person that is wrong know that they're wrong? And more importantly, that we're right?

 

I think huge motornaster could work with normal sized underlings. They're cars. He's a huge ass truck. Plus he was supposed to be a bully all the others hated, so it would suit their dynamic.

Wait, you mean there is colored line chart that is based on the sunbow and the cartoon to try and rectify the differences, that mp10 was based on and that almost every TT , FT and numerous other company have based thier figures on?

It never fails! Another boring post complaining about boring posts! 90% of the post here don't interest me, but i don't feel the need to create another same old post about it. If I have to skim through 20 pages about people thinking they know about 3rd party profit margins for days in hopes of a OS review, I'm sure the boards can handle once a week when I'm bored at work. Lol

 

Someone needs to start a 3P Company that makes ultra high MP quality toys in "wrong" sizes just to piss people off. Like a Heath Ledger's Joker Company that makes a Titan Class Bumblebee and a Legends Class Sky Lynx just for the hell of it.

 

Which isn't even consistent with itself.
