Watched the asian video review.

- I like the paint apps colors, but have to see if they are good in hand from other reviewers.
- Transformation seems simple enough, but i am not sure he transformed the backpack properly or not. Pictures show more compact maybe? I also wonder if feet were transformed properly or not...
- Really dont think i care for the accessories at all. Damn, there is a whole platform just for the sky, i thought they would each attach to the wheels separately. Sure wish they had included alternate face(s) instead...
- Bot looks great from the front. As for other angles, i will need some other video reviews first to comment. Car looks great, just wish it had a gimmick for lights / headlights.

Anyways, this might turn out fun toy to transform back and forth.

Not 100% sure yet which way i am going, X-Trans or Ocular Max, need a bit more time / reviews.

Just calling a spade a spade. Don't you find it a little hypocritical to tell @Ryanme1973 that's it not your job to write posts that make him feel warm and tingly inside, then immediately get onto to him for using "Jesus Christ", which apparently didn't make you feel warm and tingly inside?

At any rate, I would probably look incredible in a cape.

Back on topic, I guess the backpack really isn't much more egregious than MP Bumblebee's. I could do without all the accessories, as they will probably never leave the box. Never the less, I look forward to replacing Tumbler and basking in the glory of a full Season 1 Ark Crew.

 

I need a cliffjumper with torso windows the same color as Hubcap's. Hope that piece is separate from the roof structure so I can parts swap.

No, I don't think that at all. I never mentioned anything about Jesus Christ making me feel a certain way. You missed the point. Then again it wasn't addressed to you to begin with. Like Shannon Sharpe would say "there you you go dipping and dapping when you don't know what's happening."
I agree. In this context capes would suit you and Ryanme1973 perfectly.

From what I can see in the vid, alt mode windows don't look tinted, it's just straight painted black like their Windcharger.

 

What has happened to the abdomen? It should be gray.

 

Its tinted. Very dark tint but tinted. Hard to see when he has it in car mode since no light shining through. But look at when he only has the legs transformed and he's standing it up. You can see the torso through the front windshield.

 

I don't think they are completely black, at around the 37 minute of the youtube vid just posted you can see the guys fingers through the door windows when he opens everything up. At least this what i think i saw, and hope to be the case.

 

Boost and Hatch's windows aren't painted black, either. They're a very dark smokey translucent plastic, with a (really poorly adhering) gloss clearcoat on top.

 

The backpack doesn’t really bother me but I’m not a fan of the way the windshield becomes the shoulders. It looks kinda messy.

Otherwise the figure looks pretty great and you have to hand it to XTB for coming up with a solution that provides a real world alt mode and a fairly g1 accurate bot mode.

How embarrassing, I just looked at my Boost and Hatch and they are see through black tint 
Guess it was the white flecks that made me think they were painted black, and I should look closer at my toys.

 

Some people are can just pull off the cape....
