Yeah seriously. I definitely paid for her like I would a good quality figure. I mean she's all right quality wise. No complaints. Looks dated though. She is still a stand-in for me though. Hate the rat faced Hasbro figure.

 

3p has been around for long enough to have made a Jazz or 2 already. And that tnr one doesn't count, bot mode is ugly as hell with those dumb ass proportions he's got going on.

If your Jazz looks better than TT in every way possible, and is priced similarly of only 10/20 bucks more,whonin their right mind (besides official only people) who would even buy the TT release? I wouldn't support a company that has been overpricing their toys since the 80's just to buy an official product, especially one that is lesser than a 3p one.

Like that mod has in his SIG, I'm worse because I truly dislike TT and Hasbro for how they have handed the whole tf franchise since way back in the 80's.

Looks like a perfectly accurate version from that box pic. And looks like they're doing it super right too - the correct Carerra GT model (with the deep front bumper and wide fenders bodykit) but without the hood scoop - retaining the naca duct of the normal 924 Turbo. Just like the G1 toy! Great observation of the source material!

 

Delicate warrior is Way better in bot mode.

 

Yo if badcube does jazz then i pay $100. If they do jazz and tt do jazz and i like Badcube's better then damn right I'll pay $50 more for it. Sure not many other people will but geez takara's probably wont have a back! Ironhide looks like Megatron got to him  

 

Here's to hoping they release Tap-Out and Yellow Cliffjumper repaints if these guys are Cliff and Hub (and the Microchange collector in me wants a Blue Cliffjumper too).

 

If they use MP Bumblebee as the inspiration the these could turn out great. I'm not sure how they'll do it given the differences in the car shape... But it has to be possible.

Strictly speaking that would be perfectly reasonable although I suspect they may have their sights set higher give their recent output.

Well somebody was bound to do it. It was either gonna be XTB or BadCube.

 

It's funny you guys mention this, because earlier today I was thinking that, aside from the coming-soon TT Hot Rod and hopefully-actually-happening-sometime FT Skyfire/Jetfire, Jazz and Arcee are the biggest "holes" in my MP collection. They're both favorites of mine, with Jazz being my #1 Favorite G1 TF. I've actually been thinking about making one of those wishing-for-MP sigs of one or both of those (MP-74 for Arcee and MP-99 for Jazz   ).

I'm really hoping that XTB's next reveal after Kup will be Arcee. Too bad for Jazz he seems to be trapped in that eternal limbo.  

As for these guys, I'm really excited that someone's finally tackling Cliff. He and Jazz are definitely the most obvious "why hasn't TakaraTomy made them?" characters. Both Porsche's, interestingly. I've been wondering if that's the hang up in getting officials. Anyway, I can't wait to see what the bot modes will look like.

 

Do people just use Alternator/Binaltech Jazz as a placeholder in a MP collection until they get one, or is that considered blasphemy?
