Yeah, so like 2.5 to 3 inches. I have to assume that Takara MP Bumblebee is going to be that small, to scale well to MP-10, which is the center of the MP universe now.

I doubt these guys will do that though. They'll probably make Wheelie like 4.5 inches or more and call it "Masterpiece" scale. I hope they prove me wrong here.

I hope you guys who worship the scale chart are ready to have your hearts broken when they make MP Bumblebee bigger than three inches.

That's what I've been thinking, people are gonna be pretty pissed when he's very likely going to end up around Sideswipe size. I think he'll be smaller but not by the scale some people have assumed.

Likewise I'm not expecting this Wheelie to be much shorter than Xtrans Huffer n Stax.

LOL. There is no way MP Bumblebee is going to be less than 3 inches tall. I doubt he'll be shorter than 4, maybe 4.5 inches.

Yeah, I'm guessing BB will be somewhere between the bottom of the Datsun hood at the shortest, to the shoulder top at the tallest.

He looks a bit too badass, like their Huffer n Pipes, other than that it's perfect for me.

If MP BB is larger than Igear Brawn, then it's just getting stupid, I'm not saying you are wrong, I really wouldn't be surprised if BB was as large as the Datsuns, but if he is bigger than the Igear minis I'll just buy one and keep it misb in the closet to collect, I won't bother to display him.

As for this, if it is the size of xtransbots stax, it doesn't scale well with chug or MP, so what is the point? You definitely can't have him ride MP Grimlock's neck in that case. It would just be a slightly better articulated version of what is already out.

The timing of the release just needs to be right for me. I'm still pretty set on my Metal Alloy version, though.

Definitely an improvement on Super Alloy Wheelie, who is just too big these days (the original Jizai Wheelie, which I also have, was a nice smaller size).

So I echo what others have said; scale will play a big part in this. A reminder though that an oversize MP Grimlock is in the works, so if this guy can ride that thing a lot of people will be very happy! :thumb

Looks very good. If the realised toy is up to this level this will likely be the best wheelie there is.

Sadly (or fortunately where my wallet is concerned), I never liked Wheelie and see no reason to get this.

    "Why Boy Hit My Nose?"

Of all the X-Transbots Mini-Masters, I'm most looking forward to Hoss, but giving him friends is fine and dandy.

I wonder what mold they will tackle next?

Probably not Bumblebee/Bumper/Cliffjumper/Hubcap because Takara will probably cover all those.

Beachcomber definitely needs a MP toy, but he has little repaint potential (SG Beachcomber? G2 Beachcomber I guess...)

I'l like to see what someone could do for Seaspray in a Deluxe/MP size. Repaints could be G2, SG Octopunch?

I worship the scale chart which shows MP BB should be a bit bigger than 3 inches. I'm sure he'll be the perfect size.

Igear minis are a little too small for MP and MP BB should be bigger.
I've already relegated my Igear minis to the CHUG shelf.

MP scaled means....well scale and not size. Otherwise MP-10 would be the same size as MP-12.

I'm sure this will scale with MPs.

Just think about how ridiculous that tiny Volkswagon would look next to the other MP cars if they stick to the scale chart. And why would Takara limit themselves to selling a scout sized at best version of one of their most popular characters when they could make him bigger and charge more for him? Their number one priority is making money, not making us happy.

And just to stay on topic, X-Transbots will find a way to fuck this up.

Well, a VW Beetle from the late 70's early 80's is a tiny car with a lawnmower 2 cylinder engine. It is a tiny car. If they scale the car to the Lambo and the Datsuns, he would still be quite small. I would be happy with that.

Even though the igear minis are not MP size, Bumblebee should be smaller than a MP Gears or Brawn, so the size igear came up with for their minis would be around MP size for Bumblebee, was my point. He's markedly smaller than an old fashion British Landrover or a pickup truck the size of a F-150 and he should be. Take a look at the Spike figure MP-10 came with and then think about what size Bumblebee should be compared to that and compared to the Lambo. I am guessing the actual MP Bumblebee will be smaller than everyone here estimates, and will still be $80.

And that last thing you said, I think so too until proven otherwise.
