Definitely need some reissues of this unless someone else wants a crack at wheelie.

Holy crap, the V1 is selling for over $100? That's phucking nuts! I think I might have throw my v1 up for his original price and watch him sell in a flash!

It is a piece of crap, but they're still selling for over $100. I have both a v1 and v2. I'm saying if people are willingly paying over $100 for the piece of crap, I will happily sell someone my piece of crap for the same price I paid rather than be 'greedy' and sell it for over $100.

The v2 isn't a piece of crap, though. No reason for someone else to do it...just reissue the v2. And all the more reason to unload the v1 while the iron is hot.

I disagree. I never had a v1 to compare it to, so v2 may be less of a piece of crap, but it’s still a piece of crap.

    We definitely need another Wheelie.

And I disagree with you. I have V2. There's absolutely nothing crappy about it.

The car front having difficulty tabbing together correctly has been widely belabored. Not to mention the fact that it is tabbed together with tabs the size of mechanical pencil lead (mine have already broken — not that they worked to begin with).

C’mon, FT, money is waiting for you.

Don't know what to say about that, but personally speaking, I've transformed my V2 a metric shit-ton (easily one of my favourite 3P MPs), and nothing's broken, or shows signs of breaking, or any of that.

Transformed the crap out of my V1 for that matter, and no major damage to that one either, with the exception of the two ludicrously thin and tiny guide tabs in his backpack that ostensibly keep the rear fenders sliding straight instead of wiggling. Those were utterly useless anyways, and omitted from the V2 tooling. The toy may be loose and floppy out of the box, with questionably thin parts, but it's not exactly self-destructingly fragile, either.

With the number of season three figures they’re pumping out I wouldn’t be too surprised.

Hi guys. I just got the v1 Ollie and sonic set and have a fix for the hip/mushroom peg looseness. I used sonic for the trial run. First I took the screw out of the back of the thigh. Inserted a razor blade into the seam and split the two halves. Then I sanded the inside of the female half and the male post with fine grit sandpaper. It took a few tries sanding them to get the right amount of plastic off so the opening for the mushroom peg was smaller. Just take your time with it. Better to do a little at a time and test the fit until you get it just right. Once completed the upper thigh joint will be nice and tight. As for the hip ball joints I used pledge floor care to tighten them. The waist can be fixed in much the same way as the upper thigh was by sanding down the female half and male post.

My sonic figure was a floppy mess(waist and hips ball joints were loose as well as the upper thigh) my Ollie however had a tight waist and ball joints already so this was the only fix I needed to do for him and he stands rock solid now.

I should probably do this. I should have taken advantage of the half price offers when he came out last time. It's just that my v1 looks great sitting on my shelf, so I'm always hesitant to pull the trigger and spend the extra money.

I wonder if this version of Ollie is an updated version from v2? So v3?

From the TCP site it says:
    X-Transbots MM-IV OLLIE + Diecast
From X-Transbots comes MM-IV Ollie with Diecast parts. An updated version of the previously released figure with lots of updates. ETA of August release.

I read the list of updates features in the description and they all seem like things that my v2 has so I'm thinking it's just a reissue of v2.
