I see a trend here  

 

Ordered two through a seller on ebay. Canceled my BBTS order, will wind up saving about fifteen dollars and the new sales tax.

 

I dunno why everyone is suddenly complaining about this guy’s face...Looks fine to me! Maybe it was just the lightning in a couple photos. Oh also all of the added faces and parts that FansToys included in subsequent releases (sever parts, dibot faces, etc) were also available for a nominal fee without purchasing a whole new figure by contacting FT directly.

 

If including optional parts with future releases is pissing people off, I guess XTB could try selling them on their own, like an upgrade kit.

Are his doors a different material than the rest of the car body panels? The blue hue/shade is different on them. Maybe they're diecast for some reason?

 

Just a guess, painted clear plastic.

 

Is that teeny gun a reference to the Alternators/Binaltech engine-pistol?

 

It's based on the toon version of his pistol, although the barrel could have been a touch longer.

 

I really like this guy, but he just doesn't capture the same "nailed it" feeling that their hoist and trailbreaker managed.

Also, for some unexplainable reason, I just have this feeling that Skids is gonna be an upcoming TT release (not that it means he will be better).

 

I check my phone every morning expecting to see that shipped email from tfdirect

 

Looking at that newest batch of pictures, I agree. I think the face is actually pretty good. It's just that the mouth isn't as defined as I'd like it to be so it makes it look a little off. But the sculpt is good beyond that.

Also, I was unaware of that info about FT's replacement faces. I stand corrected. Thanks for setting me straight on that part!

 

I'm not sure that counts......the replacement face was even worse

It looks fine, it does suffer somehwat from being painted, similar to how KFC transistor looks but it's certainly not a bad sculpt, just soft features.

Chimungmung says nice paint job, easy to transform. Windshield is tight getting out of alt mode.

Can't wait to get this guy next to Smokescreen and the s2 gang.

I wonder what they changed about the shoulder joints considering the fact they were loose in the earlier testshots.. will keep an eye out either way for this guy even though I don't really care for Skids as a character.
