Just opened these two in toy version. The reds are different in different areas and the whites on tailgate too. This guy needs custom primer and paint. Does anyone know someone who can do this for a reasonable price and does quality work?

 

For customs, you can pick 2 of the following: quick, cheap, and good. You can't have all three.

Yeah he's still sitting around in the box. Never transformed but I did remove him from it to make sure he had all his parts when I got him...other than that, he's never been displayed or used in any way.

Nah no worries. He'll probably end up on my "one off" shelf. I suppose I could list him here for sale with a few others I have that I don't want. Just never decided what to do with him. I have a Kronos in a box that has never been transformed or displayed either that is in the same boat LOL. Checked him for QC but that's it....I may end up with a full "island of misfit toys" shelf.

 

Hey all, I know this thread doesn't see a lot of action these days, but.... I finally opened up my Hatch (a.k.a. Tailgate) today! I've owned both Boost and Hatch since they were released but for some reason never opened Hatch till today. All went as expected (the feet were still a nightmare to transform....) but I noticed that the side mirrors on the doors are missing! I checked Boost and sure enough, he has mirrors on both doors. They weren't loose anywhere in the box or accessory baggies, so I can only assume they were omitted from the factory. I don't remember who I got Boost and Hatch from so I can't go back to the seller (and it was long enough ago that I don't feel like that'd be fair anyway). Anyone have any ideas on how I could get the mirrors? Maybe contact X-Transbots directly? But I don't know how and/or if they have decent customer service? Any thoughts? I really liked the real-world accuracy of these two, so the missing mirrors is gonna bug me...

Yea, i had a great experience.

 

Just a quick update on my missing mirrors and a shout out to X-Transbots for amazing customer service! I contacted their customer service using the email address provided by Devestator21 and had a reply within an hour or two! There were a couple of emails back and forth about which pieces I needed and confirming my shipping info and then they shipping my two replacement mirrors and new instruction sheet (I'd torn mine) for just $5.00 and it arrived just over a week later! Gotta say, I was pretty impressed and please with the service.  

 

Damn they upgraded your shipping. Mine was 3.50 and took a couple weeks or so. But im not complaining, just glad to have gotten the parts.
