Yeah, in the interest of balance my MMC Terry was in decent nick. No major problems. He was certainly better built than my Peaen!

$65 plus $10.28 shipping. Still a good price but it has sold now.

Same here. My Terry was fine, and with the best will in the world objectively a better built "product" than my Aegis who has lost several finger bits (I've stopped looking for the damned things and am going to have to keep his gun-arm on full time) and can't rotate his arms without popping that fucking backpack off - every damned time. That was not a well worked piece of design.

The rest of him is ok though.

I agree that the backpacking clearance should have been better engineered on Aegis and Paean. As far as Aegis' fingers go, the KFC hands for MP Thundercracker/Ramjet make excellent quality substitutes and don't hinder transformation. See pics below.

So both of these have issues? I really wanted to get this Hoist, but hearing about the backpack and fingers falling off. I think not. This is a shame imo for Xtb as pretty soon they are gonna go out of business. To many issues imo with their releases. Of all the 3rd party companies imo Xtb has really got me for my money. They will never get their shit together no matter what they say.

If they didn't go out of business with apollyon, then I'm sure they aren't now. Especially with the qc improving

No backpack issues on mine, not even that little pin that fell out of everyone else's. One finger did fall off once but has been fine since. I did have an issue with one of the fingers being super floppy but I was extremely lucky in that it was on the hand I was going to replace with the laser anyway. All in all, I got a QC issue free one and I'm a happy camper!

FWIW my two are fine too, and I've had plenty of bad (and good) experiences with the X-TB QC lottery. The only issue I could moan about would be the substandard paint apps of the alt mode stripes.

My Paen was perfect for the two days I had him. I just couldn't get past those shoulders, they were just awful.

    Just got my pAean today.

Bought it even after I already had the BadCube and Mmc versions mostly to see what bsf hailed as the best xtb figure yet (I maybe miaquoting... No disrespect).

Looking forward to be pleasantly surprised.

I'm still vacillating on Trailbreaker and Hoist. There's several options and I'm not sure which I like the best for any of them.

Also these two characters aren't high on my priority list so there's always the possibility of waiting to see if TT takes a swipe...

I picked up Paean and really like him. The fingers... you must be gentle. I went ahead and removed one hand and put on his nozzle so that fixed 50% of the problem. ;)

I don't hate MMC's, but wasn't sold on it. I don't hate BC's, but also not sold on it.

A TT version probably won't even have rubber tires.

I sold my Speedbump and cancelled my preorder for Aegis when TT announced Trailbreaker was coming. Once the smoke has cleared, I'll decide on which one to occupy my shelf.

I have both and they easily replaced my BadCube versions of Trailbreaker and Hoist, which is saying something because I really liked my BC figures. The only QC issue I experienced was the tiny pin on Hoist's backpack locker arm. My streak of good luck continues with Xtrans/KFC figures, to be honest they are becoming one of my favorites for 3PMPs, right up there with Fans Toys. Really looking forward to their Stunticons!
