Me and my house mate just watched it and fucking loved it. Think it was exactly the type of thing we both wanted to watch.
something I didn´t get ... how did david look like himself again when he reached his sister´s house !?
It was alright. Its main selling point is its trippiness, which could wind up being the making or the breaking of the show. They'll have to play it right.
Yeah, I thought it was pretty cool. Definitely started out slow, but I enjoyed it more as it went along.
Started watching... recorded it when I had to work on other things... have the rest to watch. The actor is from Downtown Abbey.. he played the beloved Matthew.. so it's nice to see him show up in something that's a polar opposite of that role.....
Well that explains why I liked that poster. I like the show so far. I hope they explain how his powers work in this version a bit more. Spoiler The devil with the yellow eyes kind of looks like Blob from Origins.
I watched it last night. It was good. I liked seeing the girl from the second season of Fargo in it. The sound on the show was phenomenal. Really made my new surround system shine.
Technically yes but Legion isn't really a villain. He's just isn't mentally all there. He's also Xavier's kid in the comics. The comic origin was he was kidnapped by Terrorists and his mutant powers awakened when he was a kid. But while he took out the bad guys. He absorbed the terrorist leader's mind into his own. Spoiler Been wondering if this is the man with the yellow eyes in the show Due to this and that terrorist's mind occasionally trying to take over his, the kid developed multiple personalities to combat it. In the comic Legion's actions often depend on who is in control of his personality at the time. He also has different powers depending on which personality is in control. He's an Omega level mutant, so he has multiple powers and is extremely powerful. He time traveled to go kill Magneto, which is how the age of Apocalypse happened.
I was sold from the start. It would be coll to get some New Mutants nods. I expect a lot of this to be in his head. Could the devil with the yellow eyes be Shadow king?
To me it's just a little to trippy, to the point where it's confusing and hard to follow. They need to dial it down a notch or two.
That's why I think most of it is in his head. Unless my legion knowledge is dated,I don't remember him having a sister or being married. Anything he sees or remembers we have to question. Just like when the black dude snapped his fingers and then his sister does it. This show doesn't have much forgiveness for missing things if you have to walk away for a second.
As they were pounding the theme, "You're not crazy, you have powers," it occured to those two concepts are not mutually exclusive. Overall, the show is just beautiful to look at. So hyperstylized. Definitely Wes Anderson inspired.
Jamie Chung Joins FOX's X-Men Series as Blink Jamie Chung to play Blink in the other "untitled" x-men TV series.
I keep thinking of her as Chi-Chi for some bizarre reason, despite her other roles in Gotham and Sin City. But I think she will do good as Blink.
Another good episode last Wednesday. The show's great at building tension; those chases scene were genuinely scary. There was also some nice character development this time around.
Spoiler The Demon with "Yellow Eyes" looks to be a psychological construct based off a toy David had as a child . You'll know what I'm talking about if you look at the opening of episode 1.
This Legion show is pretty trippy. I wasn't sure about it at first but it's getting better after every episode. The man with the yellow eyes is fantasticly freaky.
