Moriarty has a better review up on AICN, and supposedly Ebert and Roper gave it thumbs up.

That doesn't change my apprehension about the film one iota.

Nothing about the film has looked good. Fro mthe first images to all the trailers, I was always underwhelmed. I'll see it, but probably a few weeks after opening.

I'm not reading the spoilers but I read the review and I'm gonna ignore it. I'll wait the movie.

Howard Stern said he loved it. And he went in with some aprehension because Singer wasn't directing it. But he really enjoyed it. As mentioned before, Ebert and Roeper gave it 2 Thumbs up.

I'm looking forward to it. The trailers have all been great. Much more exciting than those lame Superman trailers have been. Supes is the movie that looks really freaking boring.

Oh well, if the "King of all media" said that then I'm sure I'll like the movie too.

Amen to that. Even I'm surprised at how utterly unexcited the Superman trailers make me. I thought they'd do something. I remain a big fan of the first two movies, been watching Smallville since the first ep, am even currrently reading DC/Supes comics again, and yet, the Fast and the Furious:Tokyo Drift trailer elicits more of a response than SR. Granted, it's one of abject horror and revulsion, but hey, at least that's something.
I'm going to see X3 Saturday morning. SR is a renter, if not wait for cable.

It looks good to me, but I do worry about the the running time if it's only 97 minutes.

I wasn't really impressed with the first two X-Men films, but I'll probably go see this in the theatres sometime this weekend. From the sounds of the review, this one is going to have the same central problem as the other two: Way too many characters and not enough time to properly focus on any of them. Hopefully it'll be a fun popcorn movie, at least.

I've had incredibly low expectations for this movie ever since the "bisexual mutant whore" news came out. At this point, I don't think it can do anything but impress me. :lol

I'll wait for Friday then judge it myself. I wasn't impressed with the first X-Men, with lame dialogoues and incredibly fake accents by Halle Berry so Singer is far from the director for X-Men for me. X3 has been getting more criticisms than it deserves. I have faith in the movie until it's proven otherwise. Can't wait to see the movie this week I have a feeling it'll be a lot better than SR, which I'll wait for DVD before watching it.

I can't wait for X3! Sure I might be disapointed..but it's only a movie. Only thing that is making me ticked so far is Colossus does NOT have a Russian accent!! I mean WHAT THE HELL KIDS!!! He IS Russian (or at least before Russia split up). They gave Nightcrawler a German accent, but no Russian accent for Colossus?
    I just don't get it.

BTW-I'm basing this off of his couple of lines in X2 & his voice parts in the 'Official Xmen Game' that bridges the gap between X2 & X3.
