everyone is saying the newx-mean movie is confirmed coming soon, screen rant, comic book movies New Bryan Singer X-Men Movie Shooting in Montreal For 2018 Release
READ those articles - all they're doing is relaying the same thing - that Bryan Singer is rumored to be coming back to Montreal to possibly shoot another X-Men movie all because a Montreal based newspaper said they heard he's coming back. That's it. There is no actual official confirmation yet from Singer, the cast, the crew or 20th Century Fox about ANY of this. Yet.
I wonder it could be? OH MY GOD YES! I've been wanting to see Sinister for such a long time, make it so Singer.
I think she may be too old for the role, Rogue is an eternal youngster/young adult. Superheroes don't age, but actors do.
Because for all of the "diversity" that publishers are trying to bring to comics, this is still usually an one or the other reveal. We know Mystique is bi, but she's a shapeshifter... Um, Rogue has clearly been defined as an adult since at least the late 90s. If we get a new movie with some of those original trilogy cast she'd fit in fine.
There was talk that the X-Men will have a younger cast. If you read the very last paragraph, it spells it out pretty much for a younger cast and keeping the existing X-Men around. Website:Ben Hardy Says New X-Men Actors Have ?So Much Talent to Bring? | Ben Hardy, Magazine | Just Jared Jr.
how are they going to age the actors by ten years just like that? It's easier with the older actors like Fassbender but the younger actors, like Sophie Turner a.k.a. Sansa Stark, it's extremely difficult.
Spoiler Mr Sinister, Nathaniel Essex, confirmed? In Apocalypse's post-credit scene, some army guys clean up the mess that Wolverine left in Alkali Lake. Some guys in suits open up a freezer with vials in it - one was labelled "Weapon X" - and puts them in a case with several other vials. When he closes the case, the name on top reads "Essex Corp". If this is a 90's movie, I'd almost rather have Stewart and McKellan de-aged rather than McAvoy and Fassbender aged.
The X-Men Could be Heading to Space After "Apocalypse" | Comic Book Resources Discussing his decision to set the next film in the '90s (via Fandango), Singer said, "That was something Simon [Kinberg] and I discussed a long time ago, all the way back to when I first pitched the studio on First Class -- that they do each movie in 10-year increments...It’s a nice way for the audience to kind of keep track of the timeline, and it’s fun to play in these different eras. So that’s a good starting point." As for a potential space-set X-Men film -- an area that's been explored heavily in comic book storylines like "The Dark Phoenix Saga," "The Rise and Fall of the Shi'ar Empire" and "Black Vortex," among others -- Singer said he's open to the idea: "...I imagine – and this is the first time I’ve actually answered the question this way – but another thing that’s been introduced in the comics is a big alien, interstellar tenant within the X-Men universe that hasn’t been explored. And to me, that might be kind of fun because I’m a huge 'Star Wars' and 'Star Trek' fan, and exploring the X-Men universe and being able to utilize that would be exciting, visually." Space... the final frontier. Hopefully this can be as good as Guardians of the Galaxy, and feature Cyclops' dad Corsair.
