READ those articles - all they're doing is relaying the same thing - that Bryan Singer is rumored to be coming back to Montreal to possibly shoot another X-Men movie all because a Montreal based newspaper said they heard he's coming back. That's it. There is no actual official confirmation yet from Singer, the cast, the crew or 20th Century Fox about ANY of this. Yet.

I think she may be too old for the role, Rogue is an eternal youngster/young adult. Superheroes don't age, but actors do.

I'd love for a badass more grown up actress to play Rogue honestly. ;)

Because for all of the "diversity" that publishers are trying to bring to comics, this is still usually an one or the other reveal. We know Mystique is bi, but she's a shapeshifter...

Um, Rogue has clearly been defined as an adult since at least the late 90s. If we get a new movie with some of those original trilogy cast she'd fit in fine.

how are they going to age the actors by ten years just like that? It's easier with the older actors like Fassbender but the younger actors, like Sophie Turner a.k.a. Sansa Stark, it's extremely difficult.

If this is a 90's movie, I'd almost rather have Stewart and McKellan de-aged rather than McAvoy and Fassbender aged.

The X-Men Could be Heading to Space After "Apocalypse" | Comic Book Resources

Discussing his decision to set the next film in the '90s (via Fandango), Singer said, "That was something Simon [Kinberg] and I discussed a long time ago, all the way back to when I first pitched the studio on First Class -- that they do each movie in 10-year increments...It’s a nice way for the audience to kind of keep track of the timeline, and it’s fun to play in these different eras. So that’s a good starting point."

As for a potential space-set X-Men film -- an area that's been explored heavily in comic book storylines like "The Dark Phoenix Saga," "The Rise and Fall of the Shi'ar Empire" and "Black Vortex," among others -- Singer said he's open to the idea: "...I imagine – and this is the first time I’ve actually answered the question this way – but another thing that’s been introduced in the comics is a big alien, interstellar tenant within the X-Men universe that hasn’t been explored. And to me, that might be kind of fun because I’m a huge 'Star Wars' and 'Star Trek' fan, and exploring the X-Men universe and being able to utilize that would be exciting, visually."

Space... the final frontier. Hopefully this can be as good as Guardians of the Galaxy, and feature Cyclops' dad Corsair.
