Its a Christmas MiracleTM! So bought'd. That these are 2-disc sets makes me wonder what's on 'em and how much of it. If these aren't season sets as a lot of folks are speculating; then hopefully they sell well enough to convince Disney to release the entire series in box sets.
I'm glad that Disney has finally gotten through their skulls and released X-Men: TAS on DVD, but something tells me that they probably won't give it a decent Transfer and then wait several years later (or never) to release the next Volumes (3 through who knows what double digit number). They've only released one Volume for Quack Pack (to my recollection, if at all) and two Volumes for Goof Troop, my favorite Disney cartoons. I don't think they've gone about releasing other Volumes for TaleSpin, Darkwing Duck, Gargoyles, or Chip'N'Dale's Rescue Rangers either. Though, I keep seeing a "Limited Edtion First Season Box Set" for Digimon: Digital Monsters on Amazon.com, and most of the reviews confirm that's the entire first season of Digimon Adventure, so I'll hold out hope I guess. Its shame that FOX (or Saban) sold the rights to Power Rangers and Spider-Man to them, as well, because we probably won't get any decent releases for a good while either.
I'm pretty sure that first season of Digimon is a bootleg. I tried Googling other sites for info because I'd prefer an official release, but most forums came up as it's a bootleg. It's very well made though from what I've read.
Well that's... okay, that's not a bummer. As long as its well made and has all episodes in HQ, I suppose I can't feel guilty about Buying a Bootleg.

This looks like season 1 ,2 and part of 3 which is good. I thought they would be random episodes like a "Best of" or something.
My thoughts exactly. What does that mean, the episodes aren't edited? There...were edits? I remember being really impressed by violence in anything in the 90s (I was a teenager), and I don't remember anything in X:TAS worth editing.
Thanks for the info, very promising sets indeed. And street dates a day before my birthday? Double the fun!
Some heavy editing was caused by Toon Disney. These DVD's will be like how they originally showed up on Fox Kids 11-15 years ago.
I'm glad that they are finally releasing these on DVD. If they do the entire series, I will buy them all.
The first 33 episodes? Wow... I wasn't expecting both volumes to be 2-disc sets... and in order? Sounds too good to be true... which means I'll wait awhile after these come out to make sure they're decent sets picture/sound/quality wise before I pick them up.
