Awesome news! If these volumes are two discs a piece, hopefully this means that there'll be a good amount of episodes per volume and it's not a "best of" collection.

I just wish they'd release the last season of Evo on DVD already...

I bet they do a bunch of sets like this and then release season sets. Then again it is Disney. We may never see season sets.

I agree wholeheartedly. I much preferred Evolution to the 90's X-Men cartoon.

That said, this makes an eventual TF: Robots In Disguise release at least a little less unlikely.

Well, this is a good start. Hopefully Disney'll take another look at releasing the original Power Rangers and RiD while they're at it.

ABOUT FREAKING TIME! I've been patiently waiting for some sort of release of the X-Men cartoon, and now it's finally coming! Now we can only hope that they do the same for the 90's Spider Man cartoon and Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers.

To be fair, there have been several single disc "collections" of the 90's Spider-man cartoon, coming out as far back as 2002 (in support of the first movie). While these haven't been in order, or even "episodes in a row" on each set, there are some out there already.

I only hope that the X-men sets aren't done in a simliar fashion. There's no word about what's on these, so it's very likely. It's also possible that we get something similiar for RiD come summer time.

Actually, I expect this. I don't want this, but I expect it. There is already at least one collection of episodes on DVD. I probably won't buy it if this happens again. I didn't buy the same thing when Batman: The Animated Series had one-disc "best of" sets, and I don't think I'll do the same for X-Men. B:TAS, Exo Squad, and X-Men were easily my favorite 90s cartoons.

I just want season sets. Sigh...

I want Disney to get off their arse and release Gargoyles on DVD so I can finally sit down and watch it in full, which I never got to do the first time.

    About time!

XTAS is the best superhero cartoon in my opinion!

Is it not on DVD? I know I have season 1, but I honestly don't recall if the other seasons ever came out...

I do not believe it was release here, or if it was, I do not recall it. It does appear as if Amazon stocks it however, but only the first season. Curse my lack of Google-Fu

Sounds promising at least Xmen and MMPR dominated my Sat. Mornings way back when ... couldn't wait for Xmen so I pick-up a bootleg at Wizard World on the cheap. Hopefuly this will get things rolling for other 90's cartoons.

Bro you read my mind we need some Spidy love and a first season of MMPR, stat.

But I loved the X-men toon. Half of my X-men knowledge comes straight from the toon which was surprisingly accurate to the comic give or take a few changes. But if these are just a few episodes per volume we defiantly need a full season box set, which as much as I hate it I might hold out for.

At first I got excited but now I'm skeptical. If they're not season sets I don't want them.

Season 1 was released, Season 2 part 1 was released... Season 2 Part 2 has yet to see the light of day.
