Anyone else see the teaser for this on Marvel's youtube? YouTube - X-Men Anime Japanese Teaser Trailer Wolvie and Cykes look really good, I'll be checking this out.
i do like how they look more like xmen, and less like anime people. although seeing anime xmen people would be cool.
Looks decent, but I'd need to see more to make a judgment. The Iron Man and Wolverine series have seemed kind of lackluster. Top class animation but otherwise lacking substance.
I don't know about this. Iron Man and Wolverine weren't so good, so hopes on this being decent are low.
This actually looks like it could be pretty good. I never saw the other Marvel anime, though. Were they really that bad?
I think the Marvel Anime may work better when translated to english. Many people have certain expectations for the characters, and having the right voice can help a lot. But yes They were written by Warren Ellis and while the animation is good, the plot of the avengers cartoon is better. I think X-men may be better as there are more heroes and villains to play off each other, while the others have just the main hero, and when their not fighting, the plot isn't that interesting. Cyclops recently made a guest appearance in the Wolverine anime and the banter between the two of them was more entertaining than the rest of the episode. X-men will basically be the astonishing team (which ellis wrote a few arcs in) Armor gets kidnapped or something and the team has to go rescue her. It will happen in Japan as these series are primarily written for a japanese audience.
Iron Man looked really good but just seemed very dull. Plus the whole storyline was partly based on an idea that I couldn't get behind in the first place (Stark making an Iron Man suit for Japan). All of the original characters seemed very generic too. Wolverine, while still not particularly great, I'm finding better. Possibly because after Iron Man I started watching with horrifically low expectations, but also because its made better use of characters from the comics (Omega Red - who slowly declined during his appearances, but was still great to see being used).
Yeah...the Iron Man one really could not get into. And haven't even bothered with the Wolverine one, due to Iron Man's own. Still would give it a shot though, as well as this new one.
Well, about 6 in ches to a foot of him is hair, so Although he should never be taller than Cyclops. Wolvie was a pretty short dude.
