I'm hoping they release the mid 80's Spider-Man cartoon.

    The one with this intro:
Is this one part of Spider-Man and his amazing friends?
This cartoon was pretty much my first super-hero experience.

Well doesn't bode well for those who live in Amercia. But I am so glad that the UK knows a goldmind, in the form of much desired DVD sets, when they see it. If I ever get a free Region Player and enough money to blow on X-Men: The Animated Series (Season 1: Parts One and Two) and the long distance Shipping and Handling, It will be so worth it.

Now all they need to do is get Spider-Man: TAS on DVD and the circle is complete (for me).

With the popularity of comic book stuff in film and television nowadays, it seems inevitable that we in the U.S. will get that stuff at some point. Having said that, though, I have been hoping for Spidey and his Amazing Friends for several years now, to no avail :(

You would think, but both Iron Man and Silver Surfer have missed their movie tie-ins at this point. It does not bode well.

Though let me say that I'm happy for the UK peoples. You were due.

But at the same time: :sly2:  :banghead:  :cry

Y'know, there are dvd players you can buy at Wal Mart for 40-50 bucks, where all you have to do is type in a code on the remote to make it region free...
