I got the demo and it was OK but nothing to ride home about. I thought it was another button masher game IMHO.
The demo completely killed any interest I had in this game. As I suspected, it's basically a "lite" version of Smackdown vs Raw. It's nowhere near as fast or intuitive as it needs to be. And everything should be way more over-the-top. A completely wasted opportunity.
Probably will wait for the bargain bin. I bought Legends of Wrestlemania on release day and still haven't taken it out of the plastic.
Hells YEA! I loved that game I will DL the demo tonight and give it a try I still play legends from time to time still.
Pretty fun demo, but kinda found it lacking with just Ultimate Warrior and Rey Mysterio available for play. Still fun though. BTW, did anybody else leave it sitting at the title screen? Neat little trailer plays if you do. Shows off some alternate costumes for some of the wrestkers. Things I saw: Old School Undertaker Hollywood Hulk Hogan Army look John Cena Early(?) Andre The Giant(red trunks and boots, afro) Two different Rey costumes - classic red and white costume, and a white, red, and green costume
I played the demo. I don't think I'll be picking this game up. The animation and presentation look great, but the controls felt frustrating to me. I was led to believe it would be a game that's easy to pick up like a SF game.
I cannot recommend this game to anyone!!! Once you start playing its enjoyable, but that quickly dies down after the horrendous loading times. The game literally has to install every single dam time you want to play. On top of that all the in-game loading just completly turned me off from this game. I thought you where better than this THQ? caching data my ass venting complete
Whoa..didn't know it was like that...it's more complicated than it should be. UGH this reminds me of Tekken 6 on PS3...which was not as good as the PSP version BECAUSE of the load/install times!
Sorry, I'm abit late on this thread but I don't have this installing issue. I only did one "installation" when I first bought the game and subsequent playing simply required me to simply "load" the game as per normal. However, I must highlight that I'm in Asia so I'm not sure if this is a "region" problem?
Finally bought this 2 days ago. Already have 2 questions 1)Are there more grapples than Front Grapple, Headlock or Waistlock or am I missing something? 2)I may need your help to get online trophies. Also will gladly help others to get them too.
