Nothing too spectacular here, but I thought I would finally show a rough version of what War Within Thundercracker should look like based on the way he was colored in the comics. It's far from perfect, but should give the general idea.

After a quick digibash, I definitely think that his comic colors look better than the way they painted his titanium figure. I just hope it translates as well when I actually try to paint the damn thing :)

So the only significant change is his helmet color and the color of his shoulder pieces?

Edit: Just uploaded a more comic accurate color scheme than what I originally posted, complete with the black thighs & forearms, silver waist, removal of red, etc.

I'm scared to paint anything that's rubber since I have never in my life attempted a customization. I might try it eventually, but I'm more worried about repainting the metal parts than anything else. If that means the arms & thighs stay gray, so be it :)

Well the arms and thighs are plastic but the head and hands are rubber. If you're scared of painting rubber, that's what you should avoid.

Nice job, been meaning to do this upgrade for awhile. T-Cracker looks like an old man with the grey helmet.

If you paint the rubber or any other soft plastic, ALWAYS use ACRYLIC paint. Enamel will stay sticky and basically not dry or set.
