I don't care particularly about seeing pre-release toys but the idea that Hasbro or anyone else can actually stop people from spreading this information is ridiculous. It is exceedingly easy these days to anonymously deposit images and video at dozens of locations simultaneously and then link to it from a few popular locations. The work will get indexed by google and then the cat is out of the bag.

I have prepaid internet on my second phone with no ties to my name purely for the purpose of anonymous posting. Many people have access to internet cafes that are anonymous. The is no legal avenue for Hasbro to get at this kind of poster.

Anyway there is no such thing as bad publicity. The more toys we see the more toys we want. They should be thankful.

It seems to me like Hasbro is like, "We don't want people to see everything till its all shineyz with the photoshopz!!!!" which is guess is up to them, but there are people who dig seeing test shots and, as has been mentioned before, decide they must have it when first spotted.

/shrug I don't see a correct answer one way or the other, its a battle they will never win, but I guess to save face they have to fight the good fight.

Despite the Frankenstein-esque type editing Vangelus you did a good job keeping it together without having to re-record everything. So it was cool.

I think that when I see new TF figures from peaugh or anyone else who gets a hold of them, they tells us the viewer of what to expect when buying it and to me thats awesome so that you get the idea of what the figure can do and etc.

This podcast is hilarious, Vangleus should just delete his side of the recording & improvise all the time now.

Oh, and here's my input on the PCC listener question.

Personally, I would love a Predacons/Predaking 5-Pack with Razorclaw for the center. However, I'd also love a Divebomb 2-Pack, so you can have a winged version of this Predaking.

Limbs would be Rhino, Bull, Tiger and for the right arm, an Antelope. Or perhaps a Gazelle.

I think that would eventually bring Vangelus to the point of insanity...

..unless he's there already, and I'm not seeing it.

Amazing work patching yourself back in there. That must have been a nightmare. Anyways, the point was brought up about the new Megatron being the first licensed Mack truck vehicle mode. Wasn't ROTF Mixmaster's cement truck mode a Mack? Or was it just cleverly changed so they didn't have to license it. I don't keep the packaging so I don't know either way.

That is possible. I recall that in the actual recording I'd brought it up because the brand name was back there, but I dunno if I'd gone and found any clarification later on.

All things considered, that honestly didn't seem to go too badly. Even with the few mix ups Vang hit, it never really got too confusing. Though I'd bet it didn't feel that way for Vangelus at the time.

Mix was a Mack in the film, but the toy and box don't seem to carry any marking to signify as such. So, I believe, Megatruckon is indeed the first official Mack truck Transformer toy.

You know, does anyone else find it funny that a podcast where a listener question asks about technical difficulties...THIS happens?
