While I'm not going to BotCon this year, this podcast was still helpful and will be helpful some more when planning out a BotCon 2011 trip. Thanks!

This will be my first Botcon and I wanted to know if I can purchase the exclusive figures before my package pick up because my primus package pick up time is 9pm.

Unfortunately, no. You have to pick up your Primus at the scheduled time, and only then will you be allowed to get in the line to get the rest of your stuff. When you pick up the Primus package, they will give you the forms to get the rest of the stuff.

Thanks, I also wanted to know if I could bring with me in the dealer room a luggage bag instead a bunch of plastic bags or a bag pack that will probably get really heavy by the end of the day.

That wouldn't be an issue, other than having to lug that thing around in a cramped room.

    My advice for Disney World:

    1. Things are expensive. Don't get to crazy in those gift shops! Trust me, there is a lot more Transformers at Botcon.

    2. Backpacks are good to carry around. Water, snacks, etc. It'll be better to bring the drinks then pay for an overpriced Coke or Pepsi.

    3. Not much a tip, but here's good news: If you're in line for something, they don't take long at all! And if it seems long to you, there is usually something to keep you occupied in line.

It's been awhile since my trip last year, but that's what I remember.

Man, I wish I could make it to Botcon. Last year, I was at Disney World at this time. Maybe next year....

I just want to add into the whole eating moneyz issue. I was there last year with a family of four and it costs at least 65 bucks a day to eat and drink. One thing you can do is have groceries delivered to your hotel room and that will save you some cash. We had milk, pop, water, bread, and lunchmeats delivered to our room and saved us valuable amounts of money by eating that way. Alcohol is also pretty damn expensive in the hotels and the parks. A bottled beer costs 5 bucks. A small bottle of Jack or Jim Beam from the hotel store runs about 12 bucks. Those alcohol prices were at a official Disney hotel. So not sure how different it will be at the Dolphin/Swan. Hope this is good info for some people.
