I remember my first shave kit. It was a present in fact. Just something for kids who want to pretend to be like dad. Used it once or twice then it just sat around.

Those play shaving kits have been around for decades. I (or my brother) was given one christmas when we were kids. They were cheap, we were poor. We each got one at different christmas's. The foam is also fun for bugging your sister. :dunce

    Man, I feel like I have a hole in my childhood. ;_;

I think it's because my dad's used an electric since I can remember. There was no process or anything, just...bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

Hey guys. I'd like to get started listening to these, but I'm trying really hard to avoid movie spoilers. I want to wait for the teaser and trailers like the rest of the world, and see the movie in relative ignorance. Is there any way you can make a separate version with the movie spoilers taken out, when you have movie spoilers in the mix?
Or... am I the only one who doesn't want to be spoiled on the movie?

    Hey,

As it is, all the movie spoilers are kept until the end of the podcast, with a fairly noticable and intrusive spoiler warning disclaimer inserted before that section begins in order to further help out folks who might be listening idly. :D

Also, the timeline should help you out. "Entering the Spoiler Section" is where one would want to stop listening if you want to skip spoilers ("Ending and Outro" is usually safe too), and it still has quite a buffer before spoilers happen. It's typically 10-30 seconds of nonspoiler talk followed by the spoiler warning disclaimer clip. Also, all spoiler URLs are hidden unless you hold your mouse cursor over them. The only stuff written there is basically Spoiler Topic ## and a really really really vague description of what's discussed, like "TOY". (Not trying to imply you can't read- just figuring you may have skipped the text of the first post in order to avoid possible spoilers :)  )

If a lot of people want things taken a step further and have a version of the podcast offered with the final section trimmed off I could at least accomodate an mp3 version, but it's even more editing/encoding time so I'd kinda prefer to go with the built-in spoiler disclaimers for now.

No problemo- I understand that there are still folks that prefer to skip that stuff.

Actually I've been thinking of going back through the threads and spoilertagging stuff (in part admittedly because I am trying to procrastinate from studying)

Hey guys hearing the podcast right now. Some good stuff being discuss are cool and the occasionally Vangelus mannerisms always awesome. Hopefully when I get a camcorder for Christmas I'll be sending a question to you V-man. So all and all great podcast.

    Thanks for the Podcast!
I've been snowed in today, so I've been keeping myself busy with podcasts and sleeping.

The comparison of animated Wheeljack to Jamie Hyneman of Mythbusters is GREAT!

You guys have gotten a LOT better at this (considering I've only listened to 1 and 20). But I will definitely keep tuning in. Nice Job!

You're not alone! I now buy a toy shave kit, once every month and pretend to shave while I cry because of childhood traditional shaving depravity.

Screw all this talk about spoilers; what you people should be flagging up is the occasions when you're about to discuss something as permanently brain-scarring as Animated Perceptor's crotch-face. I never noticed any such thing before, but now I think you may have just ruined Season Three for me. WHEN YOU SEE IT, YOU CANNOT UNSEE IT. :(

Oh, and I'm disappointed that you didn't follow up on your "Dinobot = Unicron" concept, because it sounded like it was going to tie in beautifully with the "Dinobrawnicron" theory I've been working on. I'm sure you'll get onto it next week.

PS - VANGELUS WHY WERE YOU SWEARING SO MUCH IN YOUR SPEECH IN EPISODE 20?
