On the Dire Wraiths thing, I think there were some weird rights thing with Marvel, which ended up with IDW being able to use the name Dire Wraith, but having to make a new design (and possibly backstory? I don't know, I never read Marvel Rom and have been completely turned off of the Hasbro-verse).

when marvel was originally making the Dire Wraiths for the comics, they had nothing to go on aside from a vague toy description, essentially marvel created everything about them aside from their names (and anything else in that very vague toy description). Therefor Marvel owns everything but their names and shapeshift abilities. because of this, Hasbro can't use anything marvel created and had to start from scratch again forcing IDW to give them a redesign.

My mind jumped to the ROM being from a show that never happened before Vangelus said it.  At first it annoyed, but then the assumption he IS from an 80s-90s show-centric universe and is dripping with camp.

    Well I don\'t have a perceptor and couldn\'t get a shuffler.
