Truth be told, I didn't hear about it until it came up on the show and I didn't really pursue further info after we finished recording back on the 11th. :lol  Good to know though.

BTW, it would still be weirdly cool if they actually made figures out of these costumes. LOL
3rd parties should scrap their current prototypes and do THIS version of Optimus instead!

Besides the occasional gray hair, the fact that I was buying Transformers before many of the people on these boards were even a twinkle in their daddies' eyes is enough to make me feel old. :(

Listening to you guys wanting to buy actual human beings, and discussing their aftermarket price has been a highpoint of the entire podcast run.

I also kind of really want that Kreo set. I've spent the last few weeks trying to convince myself I don't need it.

For the record, the magic that is the Ginga Spark (and Egg Scanner) has yet to be fully deciphered. Regardless of whether or not there's room or a budget per toy for one, no RFID chip or anything of the sort exists in a Spark Doll or Ultra-Egg. It's all visual. The Egg Scanner even included a card with several symbols to try it out without owning any of the Ultra-Eggs.

It's not entirely surprising for such technology in a children's toy to exist in 2013, as my family had a gimmicky educational book system with a pen-shaped device that scanned various symbols or words, and that crap existed in the 90s.

Cosmos is the line killer. He was a prototype for the 6" Titanium line and then it died. He was in the G1ified Legends line and that wave barely appeared before Legends got retooled. Line Killer.
