The entire opening conversation on the Film was just hilarious, necessary and appropriate.

    Kudos.

Great podcast. That intermission was wonderful.

Also, my Side Burn got pretty messed up in the eyes. Not only did I get the crap paint app, but the left eyestalk-thing is all warped and malformed, leaving the head unable to fit together quite right. But since it still has red paint over the eye, so normally it just looks like his left eye is all sunken in, making the horrible yellow paint look even worse.

But I still like him, as he was the main reason I paid the $40 (I still consider him free, but I agree with Vangelus that the magazine isn't quite enough to cover it if you want to think that way).

Seems better without the blue eye paint, IMO.

Also, my mother did the same thing your dad did to you, Seth. But alas, my SDCC Prime Prime remains MISB.

When I saw that TCC Sideburn I thought it was missing a paint app since it I didn't know anything about the character. They should have used a different head mold. And transformers are Pokemon in DOTM.

hey guys. I was fortunate enough to get two sideburns from subscriptions, and so I was able to pick the one that had the best, most vivid paint apps in car mode to be the one to open (the second will probably be trade fodder). I think I got what might be the most perfectly painted one of these in existence. so take these pics as what you will, but I think that, when applied properly, they were done quite well and to good effect:

I wanted so bad to switch the light piping and then the heads between Cyberfire and Nitro BB, but alas it could not be done :(  well i guess it could be done with some modding. The connector on the armor segment on the leg of my Cyberfire is so jacked up it put stress marks on the connector piece where pin goes to the armor plate. Will have to find that info from Peaugh I guess.

Fireburst Prime is not the first toy where they chickened out on the red piping, if you tear apart Sidearm Sideswipes head there is dark blue paint on his red light piping, ROTF Jolt looks far superior in the eyes if you alcohol swab off the Allspark blue just enough to leave a small ring of it around the outside.

    On a side note:
Makes me kinda wonder how many gallons of Allspark blue does Hasbro have stored up to use over the next some odd years :lol  (granted sometimes mixed with other shades of course)

The return of the Marketing groups haha

I got a near perfect sideburn which was exactly what i expected. As he's my first club figure, i'm not let down at all. The only issue on mine is the yellow around his eye (that's there to homage the visor the R.I.D one had) is a little bit underdone and isn't entirely prominent on first glance. Thats a minor issue though and i quite like Sideburn alot.

As for the Podcast itself, this was a great way to kill time on my flight home from vacation. I really enjoyed both the opening section of movie talk, and the hilarious intermission. That being said though, i feel there was a bit too much negativity/ criticism (be it constructive or just venting) on Sideburn. I would have much preferred if there had been a 4th person on the show who had gotten a good Sideburn (one that didnt have the issues Gog and Seth mentioned) right out of the package.

That being said though, good show this week.
