    Podcasts are coming! My editing of them was delayed this week due to work and having a trio of videos that took priority. When the audio gates open there will be multiple things coming your way though.

    A few things about the Macross/Robotech discussion

    1) There was a lot of interest during the 20th anniversary which is when Yamato started doing their Valkyries but that died off shortly before the 25th.

    2) I can only speak for myself but once Harmony Gold cracked down on US distribution of Macross I lost a lot of interest in their product. You can't even mention Bandai or Yamato on the Robotech fan boards.

    3) Besides the fact it takes years for Toynami to get Robotech product out it's often of such a low quality and high price that nobody buys it. The 1/100 scale figures are good but that's it good.

    4) Anime purists hate that the average viewer/fan (me) tends to think that Macross, Southern cross, and Mospedia were all connected somehow and tend to get "huffy" about it; really "huffy"

    5) When Seth mentioned Shaddow Chronicles it dawned on me what was rubbing me the wrong way about the movie, it was taking the Next Generation cast and trying to write a Macross saga style story with them. Speaking of which, when is that new cartoon coming? What country has Shaddow Chronicles not debuted in yet that we have to wait for?
