Are they price creeping in anticipation of the movie?

Just went and place another pre order in BBTS. Doesn't hurt to do that now. Don't have to pay right away.

Waiting for the "just a couple bucks more" crowd to come in and lecture us about needing to pay more and liking it.

But let me say this: if this is the case, then I AM DONE.

why are ppl surprised still by this?

they were almost this price last year before holiday and clearances. they are pretty much back to normal prices now.

plus gas prices are still high which is a factor as well.

How high will prices go before you grant permission for people to be surprised?

Here too. A lot of these price hikes must be location specific.

The price of the case I pre-ordered from BBTS is looking better and better. Not that I've even been able to find anything I want at target or anywhere else the last two months.

    Internet wins.

My Target or Wal-mart sometimes creep up to 13.99, but if you are patient it drops a buck or two in a week or so.

i didnt say for ppl to pay more and deal with it.

to me it just seemed like i was paying a higher price last year, holiday came around and prices went down and things are back to normal.

i guess it doesnt affect me. not saying im better than anyone.

and i was living in chicago with 10.25% sales tax, so yeah pretty much $15 a deluxe and $25 a voyager and leaders, yeah well.

That's pretty bad. My closest Target has them at 13.19 + tax but most others in the area are still 11.99. Thinking maybe I should have just ordered Perceptor and Wreck-Gar from HTS when they were in stock; they would have come out to about 15.25 after tax and shipping and with the 10% coupon. At the time it didn't sound like much of a deal!

Unless your wages and cost of living are adjusted for it, why on Earth would anyone voluntarily pay that?

    Or $14 in Canada?

I personally refuse to pay more than what we are.
