We're all a-holes on the inside! But truthfully, most of the whining revolves around Movie Ironhide, a DoTM deluxe Mirage, or a reboot director.

IF you think we're bad, take a visit to any Gran Turismo forum. We're quite tame in comparison and have some great debates. But, I agree with you, MMM, we do seem quite whiny, particularly in the Prime and Movie Forums.
I think personally we're quite nice guys compared to most fandoms, we're just a bit off-balance mentally. Hell, try going to the The Old Republic forums, you think the TF fanbase is elitist? Those guys are ten times worse.
I find it hilarious that a poster with one of the most angry and bitter demeanors I've ever seen, asks this question. Newsflash: It's not just this fandom. And internet anonymity as an excuse? Not anymore. People are showing their true colors on and off the internet, now. All people have an asshole and live up to it. It just takes the right moment to let it show.
A person is rational, smart and capable of reason and judgement. A group of people have the intellect, selfishness and judgement of the worst toddlers imaginable, and tantrums to match. Nothing new there, sadly.
He's questioning his own identity as troll and finally took in to a hard look at his post count and how he wasted his life. Like I said I'd give anyone a chance.
Yeah, it's definitely not just this fandom but a symptom of the internet in general. People just want the ability to anonymously complain without wanting to bother taking the time to write out a coherent post or explain themselves. One thing I do wonder about some people in this fandom, though: I look at threads like the current news about the Prime FE cancellation and see people having an absolute meltdown about it. How do these people react when something goes wrong that has an actual significant impact on their lives? I mean, if they're this worked up because they can't buy a fucking toy, what happens when they don't get a job they wanted? Or they don't get into the college they wanted? Or their significant other breaks up with them? Or any of the other innumerable things that can go wrong in one's life?
Well, I (hopefully) am not too bad while I'm on here - and folks only have to give me a nudge if I am acting up.. As for the meltdown over the whole Prime toys debacle, ok I admit I am a smidge aggravated about the iffy distribution at the moment, but seeing as how they will be going on general release in the UK relatively soon, I don't mind waiting...
Honestly I'm just like everyone here I bitch, moan, rant, vent, and troll without evening knowing it. Its human nature and we have the power to control it and sometime we don't, but man at least we not all the same...good lord how f'n boring will that be. So thank (insert religious deity here) that we're different. Evening though we are all a--holes and etc.
Thank you... Don't forget Hot Wheels collectors. Plus, most of us are either kids, teenagers, or man children that communicate with other members almost exclusively over the internet. How can we not be moody, impatient, and mental?
