This, I bet BB leaves and Sam gets Slagged becuase of this.

 

I found the scene a bit weird too.

I think bumblebee has gone from a massive war on cybertron too earth after the first movie him ironhide and optius were still chasing decepticons but optimus sends him to watch over sam.

Maybe hes become a bit depressed due to the lack of war and having to always hide that hes an alien.

I just found it weird that megan fox just stares at him and doesn even say hey whats up.......but she does have that slutty,angry girlfriend that hates all his mates sorta look to her.

why is she in this movie she looks as tho shes getting uglier as time goes on.

And that, I dont think so. Sam thinks the war is over, and that would kinda ruin that.

What I guess is Sam surprised Mikaela with a one year anniversary gift, she screamed, and BB busted through trying to protect them.

 

I think Sam's actions were perfectly fine assuming the context that I think exists outside of what was shown. The big hole in the side of the house suggests some stuff we don't quite know yet. Considering it's still smoldering and the fire department is still there.... who knows?

He probably recognizes that it doesn't make sense for a guy who's going to college to have a robot protector anymore and doesn't want to hold BB back from other pursuits.

 

There's a serious scene before this as well as an action scene so obviously it's out of context. I've learned many time not to judge a movie by a clip released over the internet. In 80% of the cases it's chopped down and edited for marketing purpose.

Also, what's with the idea that Mikaela is ignoring Bee? She clearly talks to him feeling bad he still has problem with the voice box. Don't forget, there was a behind the scenes clip where Sam talk to Megan in the backyard of the house about something and give her an object. This scene in the garage is probably after.

 

He'd probably get more booty in college if he took Bumble Bee with him.

 

With someone like Megan Fox, he doesn't really need it!  

 

I think Mikaela was going to ask Sam something important for their relationship, but I think Sam's going to give her the same Bumblebee treatment to her, according to how the plot's going to go, like with his leaving her behind for college.

You have to remember that Sam isn't that much of a likeable character to begin with. He's just some kids who was thrust into an interplanetary robotic war through chance. It's not too hard to imagine he'd be irritated by Bumblebee following everywhere and bothered by the fact that his car has "feelings" etc..

 

For the record, even though I'm 28 years old and I've completed college, if I EVER get an Autobot friend who wants to protect me, there is simply no fucking way I am ever going to send him away. If I want to go anywhere or do anything, he's coming with me.

Call me selfish.

 

If you were Sam, would you get another car to go 'parking' with Mikaela? I don't think Bumblebee would be too happy to get human fluids on his back seat. Maybe this is why Sam is so cold with him. or something.

wow, all these theories are quite possible actually. I think that:
a) false alarm cause BB to go BAM
b) Mikaela was 'bout to do something too important to wait
and c) Sam just wanted Bee to have a life....>.>

 

After having rewatched the scene I have reassesed Mikaela's opinion of BB.

I dont get this coldness people are talking about, mikaela says are you still having voice problems and looks like she cares to me and sam says he is just playin it up and he winks at bumblebee, if anything my only problem is that sam seems to talk to him like he is a child, like its his younger brother or son or somethin, and then he says that he loves him! how is that cold, bee is clearly just sittin in this shed all day doin nothing because he wants to protect sam and has cut himself off from his own people which sam realises is unhealthy, it may be cool to have a robot to go to college with but sam is being considerate and not selfish, thinkin of bumblebee not himself
