Maybe I missed something, but this article pisses me off.
Oil prices tumble in biggest weekly drop ever - Yahoo! News

Oil goes up $1 a barrel, and gas jumps $0.10 that next day. Oil goes down a helluva lot(almost $20 this week), and we barely see any change, no more than $0.10 per gallon locally. I feel I'm getting screwed enough being a 90 mile a day commuter, but this just feels like a kick to the gut.

Did I miss something as to why it goes up REAL quick, but it sure as hell doesn't come down?

It really depends on the market you are in. Sometimes the market isn't making enough money on the upside, so they are making it up on the downside. Here we have gone down over 20 cents in the past few days.

Besides being a N&P topic, yeah, Oil prices do not equal gas prices. They do impact them but oil prices only make up part of the reasons for the prices to be what they are.

Plus stations also have to still sell the gas purchased at the higher price. Plus all the oil that was bought and sold at $140+ per barrel hasn't all been turned into gas yet.

Like someone has already mentioned, gas prices do not increase in lock step with oil prices. It's probably the only silver lining to this cloud seeing that oil prices have gone up, what 300 - 400% in the past 5 years alone?

Brazilian ethanol will save America's oil needs and corn breads.
