I just got the KO Crystal Skywarp and KO crystal Thundercracker. While Im not sure about the true nature of these (supposedly I think these were made in the same factory as my WSTF Black Convoy) the quality is just as good as WSTF.

I did notice some major differences from the real starscream and KO seekers

The guns are different. Thrust and Starscream have the same style guns. I checked with TFW2005 gallery and TFKENKON, the real WSTF Thundercracker and WSTF Skywarp have the same guns too.

However these KO have the bot form guns.

The Nosecone and Canopy are seperate pieces.

Tail fins are really different. Also the rear horizontal tailfins are seperate pieces from the vertical rudder. where as Starscream's are molded into one piece.

The thrusters/verniers are seperate pieces for the KO. Starscream's are jsut molded into the legs and are painted.

Another difference is in the panel lines. the KO are wider than Starscream's.

I would just like to see them release these KOs as regular SW and TC instead of these clear versions. I already have the official releases, but I wanted a second one of each. Too pricey to buy again...

Picked up a set of these lasdt year, and they are indeed nice.

Although the changes to the fins & guns are known, I don't believe I've seen comparison pictures that illustrated the changes so well. Thanks!

the seperate pieces were the only way to get the right colors in a transparent figure.

the producers of these KOs obviously really care about their product and transformers. thats f'ing rare.
