Heavy/Scratch: WST Whirl, non-transformable.

    Okay, so I started with the Convertors version of Whirl, which were Takatoku molds from pre-G1. He was already pretty much perfectly scaled.

    I proceeded to delete his transforming ability, giving me the opportunity to change a lot of the awkward proportions from the original toy and make him look a lot more like Whirl. (Convertors version is the second pic).

    Missile Rack, main rotors, claw-hands and antenna are scratch built. Windows are custom stickers. Air brushed paint job with acrylic Tamiya.

    Not by me, no. I made this with a pair of 80's toys that were knocked-off from the toy Whirl was based on. No Shapeways involved.
