Nice, which Toynami VF-1S is that repainted from, the Roy or the DYRL Hikaru?

Awesome! Is that 1/100 scale? I tried building that one over 10 years ago, but it broke on me, so it was stuck in gerwalk mode.

Thanks for all the comments guy's! I'm really pleased with the way this turned out.
I used two separate figures to complete Jetfire.
The "toys" are made from Toynami, and it's their 1/100 scale variable fighter Macross series. These aren't model kits that you build from a kit. These are pre-made figures.
I used VF-1A Valkyrie Hikaru Ichijo for the basic red/black color scheme, and I used VF-1S Valkrie Roy Focker for the head. I swapped the heads which was a pain in the ass to do. One popped off easily, the other one broke at the ball joint. I spent a week trying to pry out the broken bit from the head. Then spent the weekend trying to pop the "Jetfires" head onto Hikaru Ichijo's body.

The figures came with a ton of extra accessories, but none included the body armor. The body armor is sold separately and comes in a variety of colors. For this figure, I used the VF-1J Super Weapon Set Milia which had a few red parts. I had to paint the rest of the parts red to match Jetfire's body armor. Paint used on armor and figure is Model Masters Guards Red and Semi-gloss black.

For small stripes, I used Pactra Trim tape, then hand-painted the rest of the details.

Except for the head swap, it was a pretty simple little project. I'm considering the possibilities of making more for sale. Maybe even have somebody make a custom G1 Jetfire box for them!

Anyway, I really enjoyed this project and I'm so happy it turned out so well. I'm still contemplating on doing the antenna mod as the antennas are difficult to rotate during transformation. But for now, he's done.

It really does look good and it does fit with the WST collection.
Actually, I think he look's better with Hybrid Prime and the Dinobots than the rest of the WST figures. Some of the WST figures are just too tiny.
I'll take pics of him with Hybrid Prime soon.
