    Edit: Oh, I never looked at any emails from eBay to see what lengths they were going to to take care of those issues. I just started seeing those names come up on different actions and thought to myself. What's going on with this? It's like some clan is bidding up all of these items. Thanks.

    If you're referring to the names, I think this is eBay's new ID-hiding scheme for items over $200, which formerly looked like Bidder 1, Bidder 2, etc

    I've never understood the desire for gold figures. IMO, they look terrible.
