I got my WST Fort Max in the mail today and was happy to see that he's the same size as the other Autobot Headmasters. I've always wanted a regular-sized Fort Max, like in the Marvel G1 comics, so I did some carving and was able to make my Headmaster Spike fit on him. I wish I had a G1 Spike instead of one from the RID Brave Maximus, since the colours would go better with the body, but I can't afford him! If anyone knows of where to get a decent repro of G1 Spike, PLEASE let me know. I'll dedicate my next custom to you in appreciation!

    Now, on to the pics:

    Mini-Max with his original crap-tastic non-transforming head

Mini-Max with his new Spike head. Much better! And yes, I did repaint my Headmaster Spike's eyes blue. I hated the original yellow eyes, so sue me.

Okay, so I know what you nit-picking naysayers who've always gotta complain about something are thinking: "What about Cerbros, smartass? Who's he going to use for a head?" Ah, never fear, doubting Thomases (or is that "Doubting Thomi?") Since I've never liked Spike as Cerebros' head (the "too damn big head" syndrome) I bashed the head from the Jr. Headmaster Hosehead into a new head for Cerebros. This head is more well proportioned, and resembles his G1 self (albiet a red version).

    Meet Cerebros' new head...DANIEL!

Thanks dudes. I'd love to see someone with a G1 Spike head to this to their WST Fort Max. I bet it would look awesome. Spike's dark grey plastic should go nicely with this guy colour-scheme wise.

Well, it IS a knock-off, so don't expect Has-Tak quality. The waist cannons are loose, and the ramps keep falling off. But it's actually really friggin' amazing quality. Great detail, awesome plastic molding with no bubbles, cracks or runoff. Even the stickers are pretty sweet. And the green chest window is awsome too. It's only $10 at Agesthreeandup.com Get it now! :)

Huh. What's the original KO's head made from? Is it one solid hunk of plastic? Would it be worth taking a junker or spare Headmaster component and bolting the lil' Max face onto it? Would it even be possible? I've been considering picking up one of these guys for a while, but I'd have to find an extra HM to blow on it...
