I got two of these this morning. The packaging is really nice as it has the plastic sleeve to prevent the cardback from bending. The backside shows instructions as well as the old GeeWun Battle Scene of Trypticon/Menasor/Bruticus vs. Metroplex/Superion/Defensor.

They were given out to anyone who purchased more than 5,000¥ of Transformers product. The limit was 30 per store and 4,500 nation-wide.

    $129 for a WST? I think I paid $4 plus a $10 dollar custom box from Mirage's Boxes.

I wouldn't mind having one or two, but I just know he's going to go for insane prices. :(

Holy smokes, he's priced like he's a small gold turd nugget!

Too small for such big bucks.

Yes, it's on the Takara website. Reported it several days ago when their update went up.

    Hmmmm

Is there any connection with the Toys R US Japan Exclusive WST Bumblebee Figure and the pictures below?

And does anyone know if there will be anymore of these made that are not labeled on the back?

The back side shows Brawn, Windcharger, Cliffjumper, and Bumblebee.

As long as the G1 Minibot keychains have been available, I'd be surprised to see more... pleasantly surprised, but surprised nonetheless.

Nope. Those are the Basic Fun re-releases of the four keychain Minibots originally released by the now defunct Fun-4-All a few years back. Those ones were also released in Japan, exclusive to Seven-Eleven, and unlike the US releases, they were blind-packaged and included rare black variants.

And the keychains are retools of the original 1984 Minibots, whereas STF Bumblebee is a lot smaller.

Considering Fun-4-All only released those four, I doubt Basic Fun will start doing more now.
