so I recently got him from a board member to complete my bumblebee collection. however, it appears that his arms are designed in such a way as to be big time lopsided. as in his right arm is a lot lower than his left. is there a way to correct this, or is that the way he's supposed to be?

That's the way he's supposed to be. I guess it's the only way they felt they could engineer it at that scale to enable his arms to come out sufficiently from his torso.

That's how it was in G1, and they reproduced it here.

It's just a lot more obvious because it's so tiny.

I don't have him available, but I'll take your word for it. that makes me feel a little bit better about him.

Yeah, the difference is the size of the components make it a lot more obvious, because one side is further down. On the original the arms have their connection points higher up, but they're still the same "one high one low" thing.

Both WST and G1 BB use a similar means to slide the arms out from the body, but the difference is G1 BB has the rotation joints for the arms aligned with each other, while on the WST, the rotation point for each arm is where it attaches to the body, making it hella-lopsided if the arms are pointing forward.

Seriously, where are you guys getting this "It's exactly the same" stuff? ;)

cool, that's what I thought. I just found a bunch of pictures where the arms looked normal, but the arms are pointing down. when they start to point forward, THAT'S when they get all screwy. I thought I was losing it :p

I just display him with his arms pointing down. No worries that way.

I really think they should have fixed that. They could have made the arms work like Sideswipe's.

I keep the lower arm swung backwards, and the upper arm forwards. When it's tilted back you don't notice the wierdness.
