Another highly armed Wrecker painted in metallics with a mix of G1 and IDW tossed in. Twintwist! All weapons and the drills are removable and interchangeable. I considered an ink wash and more detail in the treads gear areas but it would have dirtied up and taken from the simple G1-ness of his arms, which are already different enough as it is. Bloodly lovely, great choice of red and I love the white on silver you have going there, really helps to diffuse the metallics. Great choice of weapons, he looks tricked out!
Did you have trouble with paint rub in that H-shaped piece inside his torso? I sure as hell did. Looks lovely - great paint job. Not sure about the big blue rifle, doesn't quite gel aesthetically - maybe some silver details on it would help. Great work with the head - really like it.
all yore wreckers have looked brilliant, cant wait to see yore whole crew finished, will it be both the old wreckers from all hail megatron, and the new batch of em from Last Stand?
Man, I saw that, and the first thing I thought was, 'did that cannon come off of a Domtropen model kit?'
And you shall have one soon! I sculpted the face. Good eye noticing what helmet I used (modded of course). 2 of the same revoltech figure. Called... lemme see...Fulldrillized. Matter of opinion I guess on the weaponry. I didn't really have any paint rub issues. Not sure how far this will go yet. Slime will tell...
