For the past 2 weeks, fellow toy heads, I have been sick as a dog. For y'all who don't know, as I moved into my home (No apartment numbers here!) I was stung by a scorpion. (the little kind, Indy!)

It took a while to heal, but while I was in the hospital being treated, it seems I picked up a NASTY Staph infection. It settled but spread.

So much so that I could not even move my shoulder for over a week later. Last week, my ex took me to the hospital. I was diagnosed and medicated and proceeded to sleep for almost a week. It's left me behind on several projects, but I'm slowly getting back to back to speed.

YAY!! BARE with me while I try and manage my workload while not overly taxing myself. It's been a while since I've been in this musty old office, and I can't work for more than 2 hours at a time (Doc's order's!)

A lot of them are done/almost done and need little more than to be assembled and clear coated.

First-up, Twin Twist (why do Marvels X-overs make such wonderful Wreckers?), painted from a Transformers-Crossover Hulk, with a paint style heavily influenced by my main man Solrac333 (Seen Mecha-Zangief???) He features a few mods.

    1. A custom modded Classics 2.0 Treadbolt head.

    2. Two shoulder mounted Twin-drill heads that attach magnetically too...

    3. 2 Shoulder pads that allow the heads to rotate forward at the points of connection. They also attach to the top of the rear tank treads for his Primary Alt mode, Twin Drill Tank!!

However, they also allow the drills to rear facing for missions where he needs to "back that thang up!' :lol

    Enjoy. More pics HERE

Holy crap, for the badass Twin Twist, and being stung by a scorpion. Twin Twist being the first ever TF I've ever owned makes this super sweet! I might have to have you make me one or borrow the idea so I can make my own.

Very good job, man. This mold was made for Twin-Twist. No offense to anyone who made Megatron using it, but IMO it really doesn't work as Megs at all, however, it is an AWESOME update of Twin-Twist. This is the first time he's ever looked cool to me. Great job.

Brilliant, sorry to hear about the sting but good to hear you're on the mend. Twintwist looks beefy as anything. Where did the drills come from?

They came from the G1 Joe Drill thingies, you know, from when they drilled through the desert in the movie. Got them pon clearnace at a Burlington for $3.50 a piece. :thumb

No Jetfire, but yep, WAAAY ahead of you. :thumb

Love it! Great use of this mold!

I'm a little confused though... why are the drills mounted on those old Devastator wrist pods, if you move the pods to the other end of the tank for vehicle mode anyway. Or am I seeing it wrong?

DAMN GOOD EYE! I didn't want the drill heads to be pointed upwards while resting on his houlders in Alt modes. I added magnets to the pods so that they can sit facing down while still mounted to his shoulders.

    Not even close. :dunce

Sorry to hear about all your health troubles man, glad you're doing ok now.

As for Twintwist, I love him, he's spot on. It's a great mold and has turned out to suit him perfectly. He was my favorite Wrecker and it's brilliant to see him look so powerful. Wonderful stuff all round.

I'm going to look at the pictures some more. :)
