how do you go about dying your figures? 'cause that black looks great and shiny.

Hello! It is really a matter of how long you hold the plastic in the boiling dye. I use a strainer and I hold a one piece in the dye for 10 seconds at a time. It is going to take you forever to get it to turn black but when it does it will look fantastic. I usually do a 50/50 mix of water and RIT Synthetic dye. As far as the shine I brush a thin layer of grape seed oil on the plastic while it is dry but still warm. After a day or so the greasy oily surface dries up but leaves the shine behind.

Neither have I. It certainly looks beautiful though. We must [have a race] try this dying technique.

Another great one! I appreciate you telling a bit more about the process. Sorry for not getting back to you sooner on that.

While I don't necessarily see it as Stakeout, I really do love that body/head combo and the color scheme. Excellent work!

I thought he could be reformatted into a tank after being destroyed by Tidal Wave in Sins of the Wreckers. I know it was a stretch lol. Thank you!

It's all good, always willing to help. The most important aspect of the process is patience. Good luck!
