Another Wrecker for the new 2nd Wrecker combiner team, this is Scoop.

I couldn't find much to go by as far as IDW, so I used the original figure box art and toy for reference.
He gets a weaponized mode rather than just having lots of guns on him like most of the others, so that's fun. Not much difference from alt mode. Just move the shovel to expose the hands for gun holders.

I totally forgot to paint details on his 2 double blasters, so gotta do that later.

Customer decided he'd rather have the guns not be transforming targetmasters. Just more 5mm pegged interchangeable guns to go with the 52,000 others the 2 combiner teams will have. :)

very nicepaintjob landmine looks pretty good as g1 scoop.

i wonder how structor would look as scoop?

come to think of it neckbreaker would make for a good wedge

    with heavylabor being havyload

dr crank being hightower and exgraver being grimlock

who to use for mad blender though?

    quickmix?

what might be a good name for a buildmaster constructibot combiner team?

    buildtitan maybe?

Well damn... I might do that without the Hercules bots and just plain use the RID figures (saves painting *sigh of relief*) than I have another Scoop in mind not Structor or Landmine, Also got a Quickmix in mind :p

Thnx for getting my juices flowing... anyways great job OP!!!!! :D

I have a soft spot for Scoop, him being the first transformer I ever owned. Great job! It makes you wonder why Hasbro never cashed in on a quick repaint

That's what i thought too. maybe because Scoop isn't a very well known and loved character.

Nice! I've always seen this mold as Scoop, but the matching colours really bring the figure alive! :thumb

Fantastic! I've thought about doing this same thing for a while, but never could convince myself to go through with it. I think you've just convinced me! :)
