    After seeing the DOTM Wreckers: Topspin, Leadfoot, and Roadbuster...i realized that the main reason for Roadbuster and Leadfoots alt modes were for advertising purposes. But if Bay was trying to use them as advertisement throughout the film, why did he choose to make Topspin a Lowe's stock car instead of the M&M stock car. M&Ms was/is a big sponsor for transformers, so why not?

    Topspin = Lowe's = ??
    Leadfoot = Target = Hasbro's Sponsor
    Roadbuster = Mountain Dew = Transformers' sponsor

    Do you think their should be a fourth wrecker with the M&M car alt mode?

    Probably has something to do with the driver of the Lowe's car?

    The fact that Jimmy Johnson is the reigning NASCAR champion for the last FIVE CONSECUTIVE YEARS... Think he's got a few fans? Fans = possible sales of merchandise.

    Personally though, I'd love to see an M&M's car to go along with my Red & Yellow in their Prime & BB costumes...

    That M&M car looks goofy to me. I dunno how well it'd work for a character who's presumably supposed to be some sort of badass.

    Also, I notice it has a Toyota badge on it, while the Lowe's car has a Chevy badge. I believe the other two also have Chevy badges.

    If I had a fourth Wrecker, it'd be the Caterpillar NASCAR. Since it works with the idea of them being engineers, and he could have a robot mode like the Team Fortress 2 Engineer.

    Not sure what his weapons would be though. Maybe two level three sentries spread across his body?

    Bingo. I'm a HUGE Jimmie Johnson fan, so I was elated to see his car would be in the new movie as Topspin. Sufficed to say, Kyle Busch is the most hated driver in NASCAR today, so I don't think that would have meshed well despite the sponsorship of M&Ms. So there's no way they'd replace the #48 with the #18.

    My reasoning for them choosing the cars they did:

    #88 Dale Earnhardt Jr. - Most Popular Driver in the sport
    #48 Jimmie Johnson - Reigning Five Time Champion of the sport
    #42 Juan Pablo Montoya - HUGE international following

    That's how I see it. Though if I could add a car, I'd take out the #42 and add the #24 of Jeff Gordon. For the simple fact his Dupont car with the flames would make one badass bot.

    Nah, I think 3 Wreckers are good enough. The M&M car does look rather too silly to be transformed into a robot.

    Because they're all Hendrick's cars. It's that simple. If they wanted 4 wreckers, then there would also be a Dupont car. OR Dupont didn't want to be in the film. Hendrick is arguable the biggest car owner, with easily the best recognizable drivers in JJ and Junior. It's just a shame they had to put Montoya in there as well., but I'm betting he was second choice over Gordon for the reasons above.

    I think it had more to do with the fact that we already have one blue vehicle with flames on it in the film already.

    Although, if they would have used Jeff Gordon's car, I could have seen that being Movie Rodimus Prime leading the Wreckers.

    I will admit, I am curious about possible repaints for the Wreckers. They may release other cars through the repaint process or simply do redeco's based on limited time paint jobs that NASCAR is so fond of.

    I was just about to ask about that. Looks like Hasbro is still somewhat limited by the manufacturer. I wouldn't be surprised to see them offer repaints of the three wreckers we've seen so far based on all the Chevy cars (Impala?) on the race grid.

    I really don't care, but I would've loved to see Jeff Gordon's #24 as a Wrecker.

    As much as I dislike Johnson, his paint job really works for Topspin.

    As for a fourth one...Springer, Broadside or Sandstorm would be awesome with this car as an alt mode:

    I think three Wreckers will work very well. And as some said before, the M&M's car would look silly in bot mode.
