hey guys just popping in for a few answers
Not sure, I don't think I have that figure. I'll look around to see if I have one. Otherswise, destrongerlupus, do you have that figure?

it fits under the vehicle. it doesn't partsform or interfere with the transformation.

hound has a ball joint and even if you modified it to fit, the width of the head is bigger than the opening in hounds hood. with a little fancy kitbashin' it could be done I suppose.

thanks for all the feedback guys. Just making a few tweaks and we're good to go. :)

Dammit, man... this set is sooooooo cool. I just wish I liked that Ratchet mold enough to justify upgrading it, but something about it just doesn't have the squat, boxy appeal of a "classics" Ironfist for me. It still has a bit too much "movie" in it for my taste (especially his little go-go boots).

Of course, the hands and waist could still be seen as improvements on the Ratchet I already have, and maybe that head could find a home on another mold... hmmm.... ;)

    ROTF Fit Check

Sorry this took longer to check than I intended. The answer is, "not really"

Proportionally it looks fine, but the neck joints are TOTALLY different rigs ("mushroom" style on DOTM, Ball on ROTF), but more importantly the ROTF version has a nice little sculpted "collar" on the torso, which looks slick but it too narrow for the Ironfist head to fit inside of.

Because there was no good way to do a real test, I can't even offer a guess if it would work with transformation after modding to fit the body, size wise it might be just fine, but it'd all depend on the mods you made.

Soooooo, if you want to get aggressive with your 'bashing it might be fine, but it's definitely not plug and play with the ROTF figure.

    Hope that helps!

Once again man, I have bought a toy I dislike purely for one of your custom sets. :p  Although I personally prefer the RotF figure, and am not afraid to 'bash the neck to take the head. :)

Also, having picked up the DotM Ratchet and played with his AWESOME Mechtech toy, I can see why it's a good pick for Ironfist.

Is this set ready for production yet? My DotM Ratchet is still MISB because I don't have this head yet.

I don't mind customizing the head to fit onto the ROTF body, I just feel that altmode is closer to Ironfist then the DOTM one.... :)  and he can still "borrow" the mechtech... :p

yeah, those boots and shoulders still bug me a bit. the boots look a little better in blue. I'll sit with the shoulders bit and see if I decide if I wanna workout something else with 'em.

Not quite guys. I need to tweak a few more things. Hopefully this week some time.

Thanks for checking it out E. huge help.

Thanks, :)  yeah, the mechtech gun was just icing for me.

Great, I can't wait to see how you guys work this out to your preferences. :)

Ok, so I did a little paint work to see how it all comes together. still needs some touch ups and detail work but hopefully this gives you a little idea.
    thanks guys.
