Now the reason for this thread is largely for what fate the wreckers will take in the film, between just being cars, or both cars and robots, my preference.

The image below worries me, as the autobots are fighting back, you can clearly see 2 wreckers still in alt-mode.  

I really don't want the Wreckers to be just human made cars, and this better not serve as proof.
Now, it's still rather early for this as I'm sure speculation continues to spread before the movie is out, but if it's true, and there is no bot mode I'll just hate the idea of having wreckers entirely.

I'll be crossing my fingers that we see them transform!

The upcoming toys have robot modes.

 

Scorponok had a robot mode but didn't show in the movie. So, we'll have to see.

 

They sure do, and they are each very different, now I'm just waiting for the trailer to confirm or maybe a toy bio will do.

 

I just watched it in full screen HD. They don't appear to be moving. So unless their parked there watching the battle, it's not them. Dead protoforms is more like it.

 

If you watch the spot in slow-motion, you'll realize that the one next to Ratchet is just a dead protoform. And the one behind the fire truck is Sideswipe.

My biggest concern from that photo? All that carnage... not a SINGLE busted lamp post....

Looks more like Roadbuster to me. You can kind of see those rocket things on his shoulders. But you may be right.

 

The one on the right is Sideswipe... when you watch it in slo-mo you can see how he moves. The one on the left is Roadbuster. I noticed that when I did some screens of my own.

 

Why would Ratchet stomp down on Roadbuster while using his flamethrower to toast a 'con Protoform?

 

They better have bot modes. If they end up being human made drones that never transform, ugh...

 

You can clearly see his ''wings'' and his sword.  

 

Since when was his sword and "wings" such a dark color? I dunno. Maybe I'm blind, but I'm not seeing Sideswipe. I do agree he seems to be moving like him though.

Alright, anyway, I've seen that footage you uploaded about 6 times, if it's correct the wrecker on the RIGHT tranforms first. Win.

That isn't a wrecker, Chill lol. its sideswipe hiding behind a firetruck.

Theres something weird about that dead robot. Theres only 2 decepticon drone models we know of so far. the generic blackout mouth shaped one and the one with protoform starscream wings on it's shoulders. That one has neither. also the chest is different. I really doubt its a dead decepticon.

And nobody say "It looks more like the autobots are making ground" because 4 autobots pushing back a force of decepticons twice their numbers is bs. especially because of Bay's "This movie is killing autobots" theme going with it. It'd be very anti heroic for the autobots to bush pushing the decepticons back and then optimus comes in and slaughters them. Takes away from optimus saving the day.

And also. That robot corpse has very little color. how do we know its not an un finished element from the shot, like when they used shots of optimus falling over the log in the ROTF trailer and his sword wasn't colored yet.

 

That big screenshot is nice.
The one on the right is SS it seems. The 'Dead' one almost looks like Ironhide, but i sure hope not. He's finally getting some love toy-wise!
I do hope the wreckers Transform, seems like they would be cool looking.
