Go look at the Cool Stuff (or "lookie what I just bought") thread to find out where all the Wrek Gars went.

Well, this sucks. One of my Wreck-Gar's handlebar sockets crumbled, so been wanting a replacement. Figured it would be sold out in minutes.

Welcome to my world. My Wreck-Gar's right handlebar broke off only a few hours after I took him out of the box. Fortunately I managed to superglue it back together and it holds solidly, but I decided to trim down the handlebar nubs so that they're not so stressful to transform. Maybe you should do the same.

They're the ones we can smile at when the inevitable junkion remolds and repaints begin to trickle out down the road. There's already one with Scrapheap in the e-Hobby set, isn't there another potential remold printed in the instructions? With the difference between the United and RTS versions, that's essentially four 4 different figures already- so why buy up every RTS Wreck Gar in sight?

I partially agree with this.....you have some fans who are posting about this to help others out and then people are using the links to buy their 5th, 10th, or 20th Wreck Gar and meanwhile most collectors haven't found any yet.

If you're troop building, it's probably best to keep it to yourself when the fandom is starving for a certain figure/wave.

That's why I'm waiting. Why buy multiples of Wreck Gar for the 3rd part add on when it's highly likely that we're going to get a couple of repaints/remolds of this figure?

    Makes zero sense.

Some of us like having multiple vatiations for the display. If I had a little more cash right now I would have purchased a few more of the Maiden Japan kits, but am still planning on getting atleast 3 of the Hasbro remold and should have two of the Takara remold coming. Wreck-gar was one of the last bots I got before I stopped collecting G1 so having a few extra of the new one with slight variations is nice. We all have different collecting styles.

No I just want to get one. I have thought about some time if I can ever get one getting a second to make into Armada Sideways but that's how far I would be going into getting more then 1.

I do want to buy a second Wreck-gar, I am not wanting to spend $120 on the EHobby set just to get a junkion, nor spend $30+ on a United or 3rd party fig. I'd rather spend the $13 to get a second(which is not as greedy as people taking every one they see on the shelf), and customize it to my own likings. We may or may not get a Junkion retool later with regular figs. 2 is a fair amount to want if you ask me. But I am not gonna go crazy and screw everyone else out of them.

Probably, because Wreck-Gar is more popular...

He is? Really? More popular than Scourge?? I figured Scourge is more plentiful (though I've NEVER seen him on the shelves, all 10 of mine were bought online) because he's in more than one assortment, and he's in Generations, which isn't on its last wave like RTS...

I have seen Scourge all over the place. I only wanted to buy 1 of him. Wreck-gar, I have seen nowhere, and I would like 2 for sure.

Eh...sometimes. I am seeing Wave 1 RTS, some Wave 2s at Walmart all over the place now. It is real weird. I can go into a Kohls right now and find a ton of Jazz and Tracks. Ohio is very weird... We get stuff at strange times compared to others.
