Disorder drives man to eat 23,000 Big Macs - Mental health - MSNBC.com
Oh, I wouldn't say it was a disorder. He ordered Big Macs well.
Ba dum kshhhh...
That took me a second. You win.
Soooo...how is he a loser? Sure, it probably isn't healthy, but lots of people eat take out everyday.
Also, as a person who really does have obsessive compulsive disorder, I think this guy sounds like he's abusing the term. Unless he goes into some sort of anxiety attack which can only be alleviated by ordering and eating his burger, he's just a guy with a very weird hobby. STOP MAKING PEOPLE WITH ANXIETY DISORDERS LOOK LIKE ******S WHO DO STUPID SHIT FOR NO REASON!
On second thought, yeah, he is a loser.
I'm sure his cholesterol and triglyceride levels suck, but eh. If it genuinely makes him happy, more power to him.
Yeah, I wouldn't call him a loser per se. He just really likes a Big Mac!
loser is a bit much.. to each his own.. if it makes him happy.. go for it. how many people eat insanely healthy and are miserable. let him die happy
Wasn't this fellow in "Super Size Me"?
Yes he eats Big Macs every day, but is he loser enough to post on a web forum dedicated to a series of toys and cartoons from the 80s?
I wonder how much he weighs though. All those Big Macs would most likely make you go fat unless you have a great metabolism or exercise very well.
I have severe anxiety disorder and I've never ordered a Big Mac.
Does that mean I fail at my disorder?
It says the burger is the highlight of his day. That's not a loser, that's someone in serious need of mental health help, and rather than mocking and belittling him, he should be pitied.
At the point he's at, it stopped being a matter of being a loser and became a far more serious issue.
He genuinely needs help, and it's a shame that he'll never get it.
That dude's colon must be screaming for help.
He is misusing the term 'OCD' but alot of people do.
He's got an unhealthy hobby is all.
And from eating all that crap, a libido like a dead snail.
isn't this that guy who was briefly featured in supersize me?
He just wants to make friend with Mr. Heart Failure.
Yeah it's certainly not a healthy habit, but "loser" seems a bit harsh. I'm sure lots of people have unhealthy daily habits, whether it's a fatty burger, alcohol, smoking, etc.
He's been doing it for 36 years and his heart hasn't exploded yet. Also the article doesn't say what the rest of his diet is like (granted I doubt it's fruits, veggies, and then a trip to the gym), but hey, he likes them. Just as long as he's not spreading second-hand secret sauce
Its not that he has an unhealthy habit that makes him a loser; its the fact that he stated that eating a burger is the highlight of his day, the fact that he has not bothered to try anything else for the same meal for 36 years, the fact that he saved all the receipts for the burger in a box, and the fact that it took his mom's dying request to stop for one day that makes him a loser. And then he blames it on OCD!
Is he the same guy that was in the movie "Super Size Me"?
This isn't exactly healthy, but if it's what he wants to do more power to him. Besides, it's not like he's morbidly obese and just sitting on his butt all day eating McD's. In fact it looks like he's in pretty good shape otherwise and he could have a balanced diet when it comes to the rest of the time when he's NOT eating a Big Mac.
